Seat of Sacrifice is far too overtuned for LFR

Yea that Button mash needs completely removed I don't want to break a damn 50+ dollar PS4 controller for that crap. Ease up on the final trial crap. Tough fights are one thing but this was just Utter BS to be this kind of a war of attrition I guess if SE wants to keep this kind of crap as end story stuff they should at least replace controllers when players break em...

I've run Seat of Sacrifice about 4 or 5 times now and I gotta say... I get more wipes duty rouletting into Titania normal.

Went it without watching a vid and I loved it. Was difficult enough to be enjoyable

Aside from the button-mash QTE, it was fine.

One-shotted it blind with duty finder.

The LB3 timing is strict. Minor complaint. Usually mandatory LBs are very easy to time, like Alex is at 5s. The QTE is silly, and I was honestly tired of these after Shinryu- seeing them in every MSQ Trial is annoying. And speaking of Shinryu.

People wanted Shinryu nerfed. It was not nerfed. But Shinryu was still a joke on the next patch. Because when people did Shinryu, they were at or near minimum item level. Most of the Duty Finder are going in with 480 or less.

I don't recall there being any dps checks at all, and the only hps check is just the one in the very start of the fight- when players have all cooldowns available. Players taking a lot of damage during Pyretic are ignoring the mechanic.

edit 2- The QTE should not fail the entire party. It should kill the failing player, or it should tell the party who is failing, so that player can be removed. I have been in at least 3 parties through Roulette where somebody has chosen to troll and wipe the group for 15minutes straight until we're forced to Vote Abandon. The QTE's 'difficulty' is overstated, it's much easier to maintain the bar the lower it is, requiring almost no mashing at all. Failing the QTE is essentially just not pushing buttons.

Only ran it twice but each time it was like the boss had an auto response to throw up a barrier as soon as an LB is attempted. Is this the case? I only use it when it hits LB3 so maybe that just also lines up for when the barrier he uses goes out? Keep in mind that both of my groups has 2 WHMs so we didn't fill it too fast. Think he was usually around 13% or lower.

Regular felt like it was difficult, but fine. A good final battle.

But DPS check are extremely lenient. Our "clear" run was disgusting, we had like.. 15 deaths or more probably and we did not even see the enrage.
Curious to see how many mechanics great teams can skip in last phase, pretty sure you can probably only see half of them.

The speed press button is horrid. Was hard for me with a trackball mouse. Finished but will never do again.

Unless someone else brought it up, if you are on a PC you can also just spam the space key for the same results instead of mouse clicks. I found that easier for me
