    3 Pulls and done, obligatory "oh we do need a tank LB" wipe ... which okay thats a fair we did not have it since Alexander. (on normal stuff)

    The 2nd Wipe was a bit more ... odd, it seams like if 1 person fails the clicking it fails for all (this could be a bit annoying)
    3rd was fine, everything has a lot of indicators like even "stop and go" for fire and ice ... which we alreay had w/o them.

    Had a big grin doing it the first time because its not the normal face roll, this is DEFINATLY not going to be a roadblock.
    Players cried at Nidhogg ... Shinryu ... and now this. Once players have done it 2-3 times it will be 90% clear rate anyway.

    A bit of a difficulty is to be expected when you finish a major chapter ... i guess.

    Yeah not sure what it is but first time in there dps was atrocious and healers were going OOM trying to keep up and the duty actually timed out. 2nd time in there better group set-up with higher hitting dps and went down pretty easily. There are a lot of one shot mechanics in there for sure. One person failing the click game wipes the group which is a feelsbad way to wipe.

    Wonder what Square is seeing for clear rates of the MSQ.

    it's been less than 24 hours, it will be fine.

    EDIT: wait, are you talking about the normal mode? Because that was a one shot with random people on DF... no issues there

    Typical First-Day-Patch-Post: "Oh no, we wiped, it's too hard!"

    Cleared it yesterday on the second pull with randoms (first pull we all stood in the triforce of death and wiped) and no communication (besides 'hello', 'oops' and 'gg, bb'). I see no problems with this fight at all, all mechanics are actually very straight forward and the casts tell you exactly what's coming (more or less). Titania first day was probably harder.

    Titania in general I find more annoying STILL. That's still one of the fights that if I get in Trials Roulette I sigh over.

    Nah, it's fine. Did it last night and wiped a whopping one time because someone failed the QTE. Told them to keyboard smash, we passed and cleared. Few deaths, nothing terrible. Went swimmingly compared to my last Titania run.

    I wasn't actually sure myself until a player in my FC started bugging me in chat asking why their pug group kept resetting after the qte. Turns out one party member was having difficulty with mashing and failed each time. They finally passed after a bit of moral support (and I told them about the tank lb3 so they didn't have to do it again!). Then what I posted earlier happened to me.

    I will say this fight is more puggable then other fights released on content, at least in my opinion.

    The real fight is fine ; the QTE+LB part is awful, too gimmicky.

    - QTE have been outdated for ~10 years, and I still wonder how FFXIV devs can shamelessly add them. The added condition of 8 ppl doing it makes it even worse.
    - The LB part should be considered accomplished as soon as the LB is used. It shouldn't fail when the LB is used "too early".

    It's fine, it doesn't need to be nerfed to oblivion like Steps of Faith was. There was no new mechanics like most main story bosses, they re utilize existing mechanics because you are expected to know them.....because how else would you have made it that far?

    The tuning for the fight itself is fine. They should just nerf the QTE and leave everything else alone. My group wiped a few times before clearing last night and the only wipes we didn't learn anything of value from were the two where one of our healers failed the QTE and everyone else magically died too as a result. I'm with the guy who said it shouldn't be an "all 8 must succeed or it's a wipe" thing. Too easy to troll DF pugs the way it is now.
