Ok so we go back to having
-no way to trade 99 totems for the trial mounts, so pure rng to get it
-No ilv requirement on levelling dungeons enjoy the brayflox geared tank in Mt. Gulg, with having to wait 5 mins to kick if they or you don't leave.
-3x Eureka Pagos style due to not changing their direction from Anemos feedback
-no story modes for 8 man raids, all savage to know what happens
-loot in savage being 100% random with no token to buy if unlucky
-Sch having no energy drain, Ast being the lowest performing in hps and rDps while being the most busy of the 3 healers. Dun lollies remaining as they were in SB
-Remove some hairstyles and armor from the game(newest crafted gear was a community designed piece etc)

I could go on but the point is there, the community does give worthwhile ideas and the devs do take it into account and sometimes implements them, we just never know what gets passed on

Sometimes the devs view on things is the wrong view and having a community that is willing to point it out is healthy for the devs.

What I am reading is you want it easy, reason this game has gone down hill wont last in the long run not like FFXI, I am pretty sure the devs are already working on next game on ps5 to replace this also.
Since updates slowed drastically if I remember right SE can only go so far with data and people want more housing.

FFXI was a older game less data and stretched 5 expansions, this is a high end game better graphics longer to develop for and takes up a lot of data, the housing is only gonna lesson its life and well community wants that.
you might say no it won't happen FFXI still out yeah it is and well they re-hash enemies events its the sole reason I left.
it's already starting to happen here.
slower updates, same events sometimes if we are lucky we get 1 new one but not to say it won't be re-hashed after a while because well NPC will run out of space to sell the old gear and that's where the store comes in.
they even said they didn't have enough space for 2 other genders and struggle to give us inventory space.

That's why I believe its better to leave it in developers hands, this way if they say we are going to scrap housing or they are going to change the game or give it a face lift or remove stuff to add stuff, they don't need community to be like that's not fair and guilt them into a corner preventing them to move forward.
I seen it few years back people attacking SE for marriage and even threatening to un sub and other things they got attacked for which is kinda messed up because most of those people weren't banned while some of the good people who do have good advice get chased off the forums or even perma banned and most of the good ones go start a reddit and have really good talks and don't have to worry about a community who get upset and attack with that report button every time their feelings get hurt over not accepting someone elses comments.

example would be my cousin someone didn't like what he said, they kept digging in his history and reporting everything he said up until he got 4 strikes.
nothing he could do SE wouldn't listen when he called out a GM asking why that is allowed but got no answer and repeal failed.
he was banned for 2013 comment in 2016 pretty sad if you ask me.

Another person accused him of making fun of handicap people but his picture was of normal youtubers like tron guy and another poster said something but he was accused of saying it top poster comment was pasted to cousin email and he was banned for another posters comment. its funny

so whoever the guy that dug through his stuff really set him up for a downfall but my cousin said no big deal but my honest opinion the community here will axe you if you get on their bad side.

Whats more funny my cousin knows the guy who kept reporting him and the guy ended up getting banned himself he followed my cousin around in every topic.
because of something he said to him and well of course he wanted revenge so made up stuff about him GM's listened but since the guy was a bad apple himself ended up getting himself banned in process cousin noticed him on reddit and told him what comes around goes around. true story.

SE should not allow people to comb over peoples chat history, due to the nature of cross world travel and if someone notices someone from forums who wants to get back they dig in history to get revenge honestly that's wrong on so many levels for bad party or something they said or even them getting reported on game and wanting to attack back this world is like this today.
