isn't it some kind of fantasy setting for 18+ conversations? i don't think it's forbidden no? if people want to have that kind of conversation between themselves? or is it something else?

Just because something's 18+ doesn't mean it's going to have naughty stuff going on in it. Many of us just want to talk to mature people.
Not all of the advertising clubs are brothels either. I visited one last week that was literally just a club floor with people dancing (in clothes!), music, and fun.
The only thing out of hand is the people who make like ten different PFs for the same club. SERIOUSLY YOU JUST NEED ONE YOU'RE ANNOYING MORE PEOPLE THAT YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN.
It also doesn't help that there's been some drama that caused rifts to open and people split to make new ones, so that makes more.
Honestly, if you don't like it, don't go to them. If you don't want to see them in PF, use the individual tabs so you can filter what you're looking for. If you should be calling out anything in PF, call out the people who sell clears for real money.

I've seen those creeps asking for feet pics. Not only is this nasty, it's a gateway to much worse. Nasty!
I'm in agreement that something needs to be done. I'm no prude, though there's some very troubling and nasty people playing this game who try to prey on the vulnerable and naive through inappropriate means. If nothing else, it's also just annoying to shift through the growing number of party finder listings that have nothing to do with PvE/PvP.

Most teenagers are still children, and a curious teen could go to those. That's a red flag. PF, tells, and shouts are all an issue. There are also fellowships. Teens see all of this. Even the teens that are technically adults are still highly impressionable. This advertising could lead to much bigger trouble for SE than RMT could ever potentially do.

They definitely seem to be a pretty common occurrence, at least on Crystal. We have Mateus and Balmung, but it isn't limited to those servers. In fact, I see more ads for this sort of thing being listed on non Mateus/Balmung servers more often than not. Does their existence bother me? Eh, not really. Would I ever take part? Lord no. But there is a lot of things that could potentially go wrong for the players involved and SE itself. Something probably should be done about this.
oh ok, so remove the ingame chat and the ability to write any text, actually just ban all online games, even if they are rated for the legal age to have sex. Most teenagers are still children, and a curious teen could go to those. It's not 18+
XIV is T for Teen. Let me show you the ToS you probably skipped over, but not to worry, everyone does it.
