dps check has failed many times for me because the healers failed to heal the party and a few times 1 or 2 people made it alive to the cutscene and then failed the last dps check, it was so bad at one point that it was safer to use tank limit there, currently she melts very fast and her HP was way too low even on day 1.

That sounds really horrible. And to think they say that all the bad players are on Chaos and all the good ones on Light...

Wait, you mean savage, right? Because in normal I've never seen the dps check failed, except maybe the adds one on day 1.

During the part where she spams that really strong aoe, most of us died cause the healers couldn't keep up. After the cutscene where the lightfloodbar fills , we were luckily able to be rezzed coz the second rdm was still alive and rezzed the healers who lbd, but it we were really close to getting wiped at the last part.

"But my deeps! I only heal with OGCD's! If they run out then no heals for you!"

Everybody but the tanks die to the AOE spam at the end of E8 normal because the healers were out of OGCD heals and flat out refused to use GCD's for healing.

With only the tanks alive the DPS check after the cutscene fails. Wipe. Back to start.

This is a thing that happens quite often. As in two runs out of three will have that happen in my experience.

Bonus points if those same healers then start raging because we wiped and have to start the fight over. Like, what did they think was going to happen?

I barely use regen, waste of a gcd unless I am on the move.

Regen is a fine tool to use in level 41-43 content when WHM doesn't have access to the myriad number of tools available to them at level 60+ that makes their throughput and MP efficiency off the charts.

Yeah, like I said I barely use it. Stone vigil has enough mechanics that make you move that it can help certainly, sure. Though, in response to the original post, I don't know what scaevan gear would have to do with anything. Scaevan is pretty much like default gear you can get with your throwaway tomes when you want to level 70+, I wouldn't really use that as a measure of a player's ability. For example, I have been leveling up my monk and black mage through exclusively PoTD, and will be going through HoH. I won't have ever touched any content outside of that with those classes. For that matter you can also just buy your levels. With the myriad issues you can find in the duty finder this isn't even a footnote.

If you care about your normal mode parse with pugs you should probably reevaluate some things.

Like, I'm all for trying to improve but there is setting to optimize and a setting to at least toss a Cure III between AoEs.

That being said if a dps wants to stand in Narnia during that spam they can perish unless Rescue is up. That's not about my deeps, that's just a learning experience for them.

Nothing too exciting, but I just want to share that BY GOD by the time I'm done with my current mission I won't EVER want to see Aurum Vale EVER again, lol.

What is my current mission, you ask? Collect enough MGP to get Sabotender Emperador. I am at 1.900.000-ish MGP. Just 100.000 more... Just like, 12 or more Aurum Vale....

Come on Freya... we can do this together... just a dozen more Aurum Vale......................
