Sony actively censors any anime looking games. For some reason they really hate it but allowed Naughty Dog to show a full blown disturbing as hell sex scene in TLOU2.

Ironically, Japan cut that scene completely out of their version of the game. And let me tell you, they are LUCKY they didn't have to witness that horrendous scene.

I really don't understand the need to want this.
Its literally a boss you're going to kill in like 5mins if its a dungeon boss or 14mins if its a ex primal, who cares if theyre a female or male.

Why are people even checking out the boss when you're going to be focusing on the mechs half the time. Heck idk if its me but I look at my hotbar, boss cast bar and mechs more than I look at the actual boss unless they have some movement mech.

You have no idea how much fanarts those bosses you listed get, especially in the JP side of things people who enjoy male bosses/male npc's create fanart or fanworks in general, like crazy. So no, male characters (be it in boss form, the few humanoid ones we have) are as popular as female ones. The only difference, like you yourself pointed out, is that those male bosses usually have more depth to them, aka Zenos, [redacted shadowbringers boss], Innocence, Omega-M (who is as popular as A) etc. And that's really a shame, I wish we got more female characters who can leave a deep impact on us as did male npc's like the ones you listed. More often than not I find their female npc's lacking or just representing a stereotype where no depth is requiered, they have a bad habit of dying/not playing a big role in the msq. Personally Yotsuyu was never appealing to me as a character so I couldn't really bond with her on a level that many people do with Emet for example.

To get back to OP's point. Yes, more sexy male bosses, thank you. Without having to stop giving us sexy female bosses.

Why must all the scantily clad bosses be female? Need I remind people there was an actual army of men that went to battle entirely naked? I've no issues with bosses designed with sex appeal. I just think it, like everything else, should be equal-opportunity. Wet get a female boss in a chainmail bikini? Give us a male boss in a codpiece to please.

I think the big issue is that a lot of our female bosses are very humanoid and stereotypically attractive looking, but very, very few of our male bosses are humanoid-and-attractive looking... We have Scathach, Shiva, Ruby Princess, this new dungeon girl, Lakshmi, female Omega, etc. But on the side of "stereotypically attractive" male bosses we have like... male omega and Innocence. Maybe Lahabrea in the Praetorium by virtue of his using Thancred. Most male characters that are well-loved by fans (i.e. Aymeric, G'raha, etc.) don't end up in/near boss fights, and even male characters that do end up like Hades with a monster transformation for the actual boss fight or wearing a helmet the whole fight, lmao I forgot Zenos even existed... And there might be people who find bosses like Sephirot attractive but I would wager that he doesn't appeal to the general female player populace the same way, say, the new dungeon girl's design has wide-spread appeal.

So from a female player's perspective: A little fanservice with some male bosses from time to time wouldn't hurt! I don't even need or want skimpy outfits, just... Why is a good-looking face on a male boss so hard to come by??? D;

Why are most female bosses sexy? Because women by nature are sexy. Men by nature are rough, rugged, and more animalistic/aggressive. That's reflected in the ratio of sexy women compared to the animal/deformed ones. The reverse is true for the male bosses

In the Jp sides of things, the females get drawn more than the males.

Reason being is that the female trump the male bosses is for the sole fact that they have WAY more nsfw on top of already having equal to or more sfw than the males.
