I'm of the personal opinion of "I think Dev time could be better spent on *thing I want*" is basically a given for everyone and doesn't really need to be brought to bear as a talking point.(I hate daily post limits....)
That's just it though, everyone keeps going on about "more important things", but what's considered "important" is different from person to person. On top of that it's not like we're asking or expecting them to devote their entire staff and focus on this, just if they feel like they can spare the time and attention on it
Well yes.. EVERYONE would rather the Devs spent time on the things they want.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
You and I both! I kinda just want to add a handful of posters here to Discord to chat with more freely...
Oh, definitely! Luckily the development team have made it clear that they aren't against adding niche content and features to the game.
I didnt read the entire thread so if I am repeating another's opinion, I apologize.
Though I understand why it is requested, (believe me I have my fair share of people running in dungeons just wearing a subligar), I think this defeats the purpose of the glamour system. One goes the lengths of selecting the attire/look that you want others to see. So no, I don't think this should be implemented.
No one would know if others have the feature on or not unless they're going around telling everyone. That way people can just assume that everyone is seeing them how they want to be seen. This also comes back to the point of is it really so important that others absolutely HAVE to see your glamours?I didnt read the entire thread so if I am repeating another's opinion, I apologize.

There's a blog feature built into the lodestone that players can use to show off their glamour to the wider community. I'd also wager that the people who would make use of this thread's proposed feature aren't going to open up a conversation about glamour in the first place, so nobody is truly missing out.
Unless one assumes everyone has the feature on then nothing really changes.I didnt read the entire thread so if I am repeating another's opinion, I apologize.

"Is adventuring not supposed to be glorious? I thought it was supposed to be glorious." - Vath Deftarm, Dravanian Hinterlands, An Acquired Taste
"That's a fine accomplishment lad. Young and lusty as you are, no doubt you'll achieve much and more in the years to come. I look forward to hearin' all your deeds." - Jonathas, Master of the Rolls, Old Gridania
When I said nothing really changes I meant for those that glam with tge sole purpose of being seen by others. Nothing changes unless one asumes everyone is using the feature. Since if that is the assumption then yes of you glam with the sole purpose of being seen then you run into problems.
Lets get to the option to turn everyone to Lyse. Everyone all the time.
No you can't "just assume that everyone is seeing them how they want to be seen". It creates the opposite effect. You can never be certain how people are seeing you.No one would know if others have the feature on or not unless they're going around telling everyone. That way people can just assume that everyone is seeing them how they want to be seen. This also comes back to the point of is it really so important that others absolutely HAVE to see your glamours?
And as I said so many times, it's not about demanding to be admired in my outfit. It's about not being shown in something I don't want to be seen in.
This thread just feels like a thousand exhausting cycles of the same argument with the same misrepresentations at every turn of why someone might not want people to be able to do this to their character, whether or not the effect is fed back to the player, and I am so very tired of trying to explain again to the same few people.
I don't want to "be seen" and focused on, I just don't want to be misrepresented.
