The Burn is one of those instances I get a bit squeamish about doing especially with randos. The last boss in particular can be a PUG killer in my experience.

Since I've been catching one of my characters up on the story I had no choice. I have to say that was one of the better dungeon runs I've played. We smoked it. I don't think it took us even 10 minutes to get to the end boss. We wiped once there but the second attempt went much better.

I do not think they are defending those players, more so but berating a player is a wasted effort. If someonr refuses advice nothing you say or do will change that.

Personally I find it easier to remove ment from the group or leave myself.

I am in agreement that it would be nice if players took responsibility for their actions, and it is commendable if you wish to fight the good fight so to speak. Though for many players it gets old pointing out expectations that should be a standard only for them to fall onto deaf ears.

I might be tired of it myself but its always satisfying when you finally get people that look at you and listen and learn. it reminds me why i keep trying to help teach people.

I make no effort to look up guides or watch videos, but I will always listen to tips and advice given in game.

Nothing beats a tank wannabe DPS in the sunken temple of qarn.
Our MCH decided it was a good idea to pull everything (excluding the first 3 adds) till the first boss.
Yes, that's correct, our MCH, not me, the poor tank who had to deal with 3 bees that the 2 dps couldn't kill in time before final sting.
When you thought the MCH will learn... he does it again on EVERY trash pull.

Nothing also beats a GNB tank who:

-didn't want to mass pull
-sparingly used cooldowns
-kept spinning mobs and bosses like he wanted to ride a merry-go-round, thereby cleaving the party with a good chunk of them
-kept sarcastically apologizing for their stupidity
-whined when they realized they were synced to 68
-once mass pulls were actually f*cking encouraged and I had to reassure the tank a few times that I had their back, then PROCEEDED TO STAY THE F*CK OUT OF MY ASYLUMS.

What made it worse was that in the party we had a DRG that was doing their damnest to do their positionals. I felt sorry for them and I wished I could've commed them too. I ended up comming the newbie mch.

So fresh it's still hot, folks!
Just did Akadaemia Anyder with a friend on Summoner.
We zoned , moved towards the first group aaaaand the tank did nothing. Didn't write anything but twitched, so obviously not afk. So we adressed the tank after a bit over a minute had passed and this happened:



Just writing "leave" wasn't a good way to go about it from my friend (I know how he meant it, randoms don't) but I don't get why people queue on a specific role if they don't really want to play it and then refuse to participate in any way out of pure spite.

So we just continued without him, kicked him after some time and got the endboss with just the three of us. A tank joined for the endboss, we steamrolled it and left the dungeon.

And guess who suddenly appeared in front of me on my server and pmed me?

I was in a dungeon last night and I was the healer kinda new to astrologian but I'm really good ran 7 dungeons before my last where my tank would pull all the creatures bit off more than he could handle and would run behind me while I was trying to heal everyone needless to say I wiped 3 times cuz he had no clue what he was doing I was so mad
