    To be entirely fair, DPS have always had longer queue times due to there being so many different choices in the game compared to tanks and healers, the relative ease of the jobs, and the lack of responsibility in the DPS role.

    I don’t think they warrant any kind of EXP bonuses for longer queues, though. That’s a silly suggestion.

    I don't get bored with leveling because I don't rush it. There's no point in getting every job to level cap as fast as possible when I'm only going to end up playing a couple of them on a regular basis.

    Leveling XP is fine, especially once you get a job to 80. Roulettes, beast tribes, hunt bills, Palace of the Dead/Heaven on High, command missions, PvP, FATEs, leves... so many different things you can choose to do to vary your experience and prevent boredom.

    Sorry you didn't get the echo chamber you were expecting.

    I would not be against a road to 70 buff to everyone no matter the server status, but that would also defeat the purpose.

    I have a question and this seems like the appropriate place. If i want to get all classes to 80 and i don't want to do dungeons or any group activity really, what should i do? I can use squadron until 60 but what can i do between 60-70? Daily beast tribe quests give low experience and fates are dull and take forever and don't give any better experience, so what's left? I mean i can do it eventually of course but in one month? Unlikely, unless i just spam something over and over which makes everything boring, as i'm sure we all know. Altough spamming things over and over seems to be the way the leveling was designed, for some reason. No wonder people want to skip it as much as possible. Only DRG and NIN left (never doing AST).

    I couldn't imagine leveling ARR without the buffs. Playing in ARR tier level is horrible, level 50 is a minimum for me to not claw out my eyes in boredom. Granted I don't think the resolution is to speed up leveling. They SHOULD redo ARR abilities. Almost every class should have rotations close to HW content by level 20-30 imo.

    Just add animation improvements to give a feel for progression or something.

    Too many classes are missing out on what makes them feel complete. Dragoon for sure with their gauge. AST doesn't even get their card buffs in some dungeons, which seems outrageous to an extreme. Give Scholar their Galvanize heal, and Eos immediately.

    BLM should get Fire 3 and the proc by 20. Give us SOMETHING other than Fire 1 spam for days. At least the hopes for a proc is something to make my brain somewhat engaged.

    1. Beast tribe quests (from HW/SB/ShB).
    2. Daily hunts from a hunt board.
    3. FATEs.

    It'll be slow, but you can get there. I've done these with healer and tank jobs I wasn't particularly fond of playing.

    For DPS jobs, I added

    4. MSQ Roulette

    because the XP is really good for the level (above 50), at level 79 it's almost enough to get you to 80 by itself. An hour a day, max, in a familiar instance with Tomes as a secondary reward so you can get the armor for your new 50/60/70 Warrior of Light.

    Leveling is already much faster than it was in the past... so it is a bit weird to ask for even more. PvP and Potd/HoH really help a lot.

    I agree though dungeon design could be a lot more fun and better, something is off if the best way to do a dungeon is to pull every mob from start to finish and just aoe, while still not being really bothered by the damage the mobs do. It also doesn't pay any tribute to the mappers if you are just rushing through all the parts, there is sometimes no time to stop for a moment... Even more annoying if some mobs only spawn upon death of the first set of mobs and the fight is artificially lengthened that way.
    If I just do one example, in Sohm Al hard mode the very first few packs of mobs can be pulled in a simple gas/geysir aoe that is located around them, to give everyone a vulnerability buff who touches it. This game needs more mechanics that make skillfull plays like that more worth it. Then playing smart might be way more fun than just pulling lots of mobs and aoe for 1min.

    The same way some bosses in old dungeons give you a damage buff if you stand in the right aoe or interrupt a tether. Is also a more creative way.
    In the lost city of amdapor you can pull the mobs into the light and they start burning and take extra damage.
    I feel like the dungeon devs had the right idea but the execution feels weak.
    The difference between doing it wrong and doing it right is minimal. This makes playing bad tolerable. Reward people more who play the intended way, increase buffs and vulnerabilities or even give them mounts to use like in the alexander raid or turrets like in some dungeons. It would be way more fun if it would actually matter.

    Get yourself to level 61 first, and then from 61-70 you can spam Heaven on High. After you get to 71, you can, of course, do ShB dungeons with your Trust NPCs.
