New Treasure Trove Rewards: why Ixion?

Well, itll make the ixion fight obsolete, which is a shame. However as other people pointed out, the fight itself isnt a challange. If anything the problem with ixion was actually finding it in the first place. Half the time during SB, people would kill it and not mention it to other people or keep the hunt tracker updated. So it was GL trying to get it - hope you know someone who sees it and lets you know.

Hello how often are people even in the lochs for extended periods of time now? I have seen odin a good 4-5 times these past 2-3 months. Last time I saw ixion...I dunno, year if not more. Honestly, I would prefer if they revamped world bosses to actually be difficult and worth the struggle, but also give us timers/better notification of when it was up or when it will be up other than the sky changing color. But thats a separate issue I guess.

You still need the item to make ixion not invulnerable. I think the only way to get it is from maps, which hardly anyone does. That's why this is a thing now.

It is a limited time event and every time they do this event the rewards are different so it is not like the fate will forever be obsolete. As far as how often it is still done. I know on my server it still gets called out in most of the hunt LS I am in. Still a bit active, not as much as it once was but not completely dead either, at least on my server.

Just wish they’d put some of the really old pvp mounts / rewards into it now. Some weren’t playing when they were a thing and those who got them maybe aren’t playing anymore and if they are it’s been 3/4/5 yrs of exclusive. Would be better than putting mounts in that you can get with 15 mins work (arr primal) or an hr with a pf (birds/susano dog)

I am not for making pvp mounts and pvp rewards available for this. I mean some are feast items and you should be required to participate in those to achieve said items. If you don't participate in the feast competition then you can't get the reward and feast is tiered. Do well you get better rewards with the collars. Some of the other regular frontline pvp stuff is pretty straight forward and easy to obtain including mounts.

I never thought I would agree with something like this, but I do. The beast tribe mounts are ok since I think there is still cause to do the quests if you want the other stuff they offer (glamour/minions/ect) but I dont think Ixion should be there.

I was alway excited to log into the zone just to see if Levin weather was up and rushing to join in. I wish we would have known as I would have waited rather than wasting time. Took me 4 months to get my horns (on and off trying to catch him up)

I have no issues with the devs throwing rewards from irrelevant content into the treasure trove. If Ixion is a problem for you OP, then pretty much all of the TT rewards should drive you up the wall.

Making these rewards easier to obtain doesn't in anyway invalidate what you want through to get it. In fact, it gives you bragging rights. Use `em.

I don't mind them adding things that can take a long time (it can take months for beast tribes and FATE items). But I think they should have put the items the FATEs drop instead of the actual mount - some people may need just 1 more item to get the mount and won't need to spend so many tomes (to not devalue their time spent getting their previous items).

That said, I also think all the primal mounts shouldn't be on the menu. What they should do instead is just increase the mount drop rates for older expansions.
