Constant Disconnects- (30002)1320003409,38112040,5

I am having this same issue. It does not matter where I am, whether full screen or windowed. It is not my connection or anything on my end. Sometimes I play fine for hours without being disconnected, others like this morning, is every 10-15 minutes. FIX THIS NOW!!

Same thing here for me. I had this prob around Ifrit launch, then everything went fine, and now i'm having it again since 1-2 days.

I am having this same issues since the patch. It has progressively gotten worse to the point that it's impossible to play.


1) User Environment
1. – Operating System? (IE: WinXP, Vista, Win7, 32bit? 64bit?) Windows 7
2. - Antivirus program? (IE: Windows Defender, AVG, etc) Charter security suite
3. – Internet Service Provider? charter

3) Frequency of 30002 Error? every 5-15 minutes
4) What area were you in when the error occurred? all areas
5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc) sitting still, running, crafting, taking lift
6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party) sometimes
7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? random, 2 sometimes, 6 or even 20
8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? eventually

This information may have been provided previously, but gathering it this format will allow us to pass it allow to the Development Team to find a resolution to this issue.

Just thought I'd post back again. I switch-out my modem for a newer model and havent had so much of an issue. Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself here. I read an old post on zam about that which led to that action. I had tried everything else on my side that I could.

I went back to FFXI to see if my connection was the problem and I spend 2 days straight on it without d/c once or event get close to d/c...everything was just fine! (max resolution, windower, explorer open etc..)

logged on FF14 today to see how it'll be: 4 mins On = 300002 d/c.....

I.m pretty sure this is not me but the damn FF14 server or corrupted files or something else from SE.

How come it could be my pc,router,internet provider,etc. since every others onlines games running well on my pc and this one is not??

Pata,
At the time you did this tracert you had crashed or disconnected? Were you able to log in after?
Does your d/c happen in certain zones or during a certain action? Have you done a chckdsk on your machine?

It was just after the 30002 error. I'll try to do another one right when i'm r0'ing. I've done a checkdisk, everything seems fine. As for the timeout on the 4th jump, I've been having this since a long time now (before the problems I've been encountering with FFXIV), it's systematic, I should call my ISP about that ^^

I don't always have the 30002 error. Most of the time, I just get r0 status, which can stay for a few seconds to a few minutes (less than 5). If the r0 stays too long, I eventually get the 30002 error. These r0's tend to happen periodically, when it happens it does for approximatly 1-2 hours. I've noticed it happens in the afternoon (GMT+1), when it's around 10pm for japan. It also happens later at night, around 1-2 am for me (still gmt+1), I guess when it's an US primetime. When I'm in those r0 phases, I have r0s every 1-3 minutes for 5-10 minutes, then it might be ok for 10-15 minutes then it happens again.

Many, I had this in all 3 cities, Ifrit battle, Natalan, and I guess other places too.
5) What were you doing when the error occurred?
(What type of actions, movements, etc) : Crafting (spammed and elaborate), fighting (xp party, Ifrit), chatting, and also just being afk doing nothing (I come back to my pc and I'd 30002).
6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred?
(Please provide number of party members if you were in a party) Solo & Party (from 2-3 members to full party)
7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
As seen on the minimap, it's random, I had with no one, a few npcs (crafting in town in remote area), in the middle of Uldah (so lots of people), in natalan party (lots of npc, few pc).
8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?
Yes, as I've said the disconnections happen in short bursts, so I can log back pretty easily but then I get r0's again, and eventually a 30002 error again.
