Why is all the new hair that get added short hair?

I don't think you understand because guys really don't have many options for short hair. Most of the hair that gets added it's on the feminine side and is mid length to long in length.

Edit: I just looked and out of the 66 hairstyles I have access to, only about 6 - 8 of them would I consider short. So try again in telling me that we have LOADS of short hair.

I think it comes down, at least partly, to perspective and what is considered "short" varying by gender.

There are a lot of styles here that I would consider short on female but mid-length on male.

Another problem with making really short masculine styles is that they may need more layers to look good, and can still end up looking odd at the back where all the different pieces come together.

I'd rather that they add new hairstyles that were not from a 6 year old contents. Styles do change and 6 years is a long time in the world of fashion.

I like my long hair until I got short hair. It's so much easier to take care of, I don't think I would ever grow it out as I did in my teens.

The only way the new hairstyle isl ong is if you're counting in the front (And even then that's stretching it). Otherwise, the back is very short (which is where most people judge hair length).

In all seriousness, we really need more longer hairstyles, clipping be damned.

long hairstyles clip horribly and do not have the proper physics to move realistically. longer hairstyles require more "bones" to be added to character modelling and that's something the devs aren't willing to touch on or develop right now (or ever it seems since the game is 6+ years old now).

None of these constraints have stopped them from releasing longer hairstyles. They are already in the game. The most recent long style goes almost all the way down my back on my Midlander. The one I am currently using (Alma's) is also very long, just tied back with a bow. Styles like Alma's don't have as many clipping issues because the tie forces the hair away from the neck where most collars cause the biggest clipping issues.

However, the longer styles do indeed take longer to implement than shorter styles for the very reasons you mentioned, which is why we get more of the latter. It isn't that they are unwilling. We will get another long style of hair, it's just a matter of when.

I think one reason we don’t get truly short hair is because of the Miqote eats. I imagine it would look weird on them. The shortest they ever dared go universal for all races was Conrad Kemp’s hair, if you remember him.

Also, to SE only giving us bobs and straight hairstyles with bangs or whatever is probably because this is a Japanese game and well, when it comes to men in Asia, they usually have a bob, mop top or bowl cut hairstyles. I know that sounds terrible but think about it. It’s true. Sometimes you’ll see a guy with some other hairstyle, but mostly bob type hair. Women, they just have straight, sleek hair. They can style it however. So when they make short hairstyles, they have Asian men in mind and give us another variation of a bob, mop top or bowl cut. If it was a Western game, we’d have crew cuts, flat tops, some corporate cut or whatever we have here. This might also be why we also don’t get curly as Asians don’t have curly hair unless they perm it.

That doesn't look different enough to the male Adventure style, besides presumably being unisex. It's not far off the PVP hairstyle with the braids, either.

I hope they at least flip it left-right so it parts on the other side.
