i don't really know why that skill getting a most hate and even become a meme, it sound horrible at first, yes, but now i think that skill is quite nice, play both GNB and SCH myself

superbolie is like an inferior version of HG of PLD with shorter cooldown, it take all of your HP to 1 but let you take no damage why active, so healer can just slowly get GNB HP up in that duration, unlike DRK and WAR they need to throw out a big instant heal as soon as possible or else both tank HP will stay at 1 and take a risk of die by an auto attack after the duration finish

The best I was able to come up with was the idea of Superbolide's HP burn "ignoring" recently incoming heals. For that I would use a 1 second window, to compensate for lag or a player's slow reaction. This means that, for example, when a white mage casts Tetragrammaton to restore 50,000 points of health, and the GNB activates Superbolide less than a second afterwards, they will be left with 50,001 HP.

I think the window is strict enough to prevent players from abusing this in some way, and it would primarily fix the frustration that stems from poor communication, particularly in PUG raids where the lack of voice comm makes writing "I am going to activate Superbolide" a time-consuming and therefore irrecommendable tactic.
If it's healer problem, then Aurora needs to be buffed to where it's an instant 1200 cure potency with it's current effect on top of 200 cure potency regen for 18 seconds.

Does not matter one way or the other to me.
The skill works well enough as is and I have no problem with it, but I would not loose my shit if they made it easier for those who at the moment have a problem with how it works.

Then your issue is with how the skill works outside of party-play. Because in group content, healers have until the very end of Superbolide to get your HP back up to surviveable levels. If they use a cooldown just before you used Superbolide, then that's their problem.

    Green DPS: But mah deeps!

Blue DPS: Mah deeps are more important any Green DPS' deeps!

    Red DPS: HEAL ME!!!

Does that sound about right or am I missing something...?

    Short answer - no

Long answer - no, use your cooldowns properly, this is a non-issue.

If it was to function like that. I'd think it would have to be split. Make the self heal only apply to yourself and the regen you either give someone after you heal yourself or have both effects apply to you if a friendly target isnt selected.

I aboslutely 100% understand the sentiment of superbolide in dungeons you run into those issues as a tank where you go to hit the invuln button and as you do you see that Bene, or your HP jump up before plummeting. Definately is a feels bad moment.
In raid? I mean in a group genrally if you are clearing/farm you have your invulns planned out so that way healers can adjust to it. (Had an arguement with a tank saying never to use your invulns unless to save other players, to which I understand they COULD be used for that, but that's not my job to cover for another player's screw up.)

Is this really still a thing?
    I thought they fixed this.
