I will never forget the first days of copied factory where whole groups were running off the plattform like lemmings in the fight against Engels.

Haha, that sounds funny and could totally be me. Except my sprint to certain death during MSQ-Hades, I usually make sure to not jump or walk off any suspiscious corners on plattforms by now *innocentwhistling*.
Speaking of Trusts: I was doing on RDM Grand Cosmos for MSQ with them and wiped a glorious three times during the first boss and their danged brooms. Too stupid to figure it out XD. Reminded me of my headless-chicken run with them in Dohn Mheg at first boss.
Just a proud bad-skilked player
The brooms are the worst. I was getting slapped around so much by them that i gave up trying to even play my rolls while dodging. I just completely stop, walk around them, then use my gap closer to get back to it. lolHaha, that sounds funny and could totally be me. About brooms: lol just today I died to them.
I was actually trying to use a tecnique someone here said, but it totally didn't work and I got hit by 4 brooms. So shameful.
Honestly, that mechanic is evil.
I really don't like getting paired with other DNC, I wish the game would prioritize spreading them out between parties in content like allied raids.
Every time I give the other DNC(s) the benefit of doubt and let them go first so we can get more tech steps they don't use it on cooldown. I just started going first unless they're better geared than me, though I've found that rarely means anything. I'll pick the person with 485 weapon to partner, and they end up being the one dead half the fight. Either I have an uncanny ability to find the people who got carried through content for gear, or I'm using my Cursed Position on them and just ruining their night.
I joined roulette and got Cinder Drift in-progress with 18 minutes left playing DNC. They’re on the second phase. We get 3 attempts in before there’s just no time. Each try no one missed any mechanics, no one died. We just didn’t meet the DPS check with 5% left before the KO.
YIKES.
I was leveling SAM and the roulette popped Gubal Library. Things start out fine. We move along. After the first boss, I notice I'm pulling aggro. Check the Paladin, tank stance is on. Oh well, he must be missing something the in aoes. Second boss, Paladin can't keep aggro. I pull it within 3-4 GCDs. Tank stance is still on. I scrutinize closer. Why do I have more health than the Paladin? My scaled ilvl isn't THAT much of an advantage. Paladin admits he's a brand new player. Not much idea what he's doing. I'm cool with it. The healer and I talk him through the fights and give him general game tips. We clear 2nd boss with me SAM tanking.
As we approach the final boss, it hits me. This Paladin's entire equipment set is broken. We throw ourselves at the final boss, but we can't down him. The Paladin, now with his last few bits of gear broken, dies to party wide AoEs alone. I can tank the Boss, but we're having a hard time 3-maning the circle mechanics. I'm too squishy to soak both the boss and an add. We time out on Gubal Library. I stuck in cause I was honestly curious if we could 3-man the dungeon. Healer just seemed like a nice person. No idea why the other DPS went along with us.
TL;DR - I tanked most of Gubal Library as SAM because our PLD never figured out that you have to repair gear.
I got Cinder Rift on roulette the other day and my gear was at around 40%. I figured I would be fine. Didn't realize we would have an issue with DPS checks and just an overall sense of chaos. Went through two full parties and when we finally got a good one my gear was at 0%. Of course, as a DNC I wouldn't be able to contribute to the second phase DPS checks at all so I told the party I would be of no help to them and left. It sucked because I wasted close to 45 minutes, but I refuse to be dead weight.I was leveling SAM and the roulette popped Gubal Library. Things start out fine. We move along. Yeah, if your gear is broken, then leaving the duty is the right thing to do, rather than making the whole party suffer through it. If the party is willing to carry you then that's fine I guess but if the party is struggling you really ought to just leave and repair. Kind of a shame that you can't pop out of a duty, repair and pop back in like you can in WoW, though the existence of repair bots and mounts with repair npcs often makes that unnecessary anyway if you have one available in your party. I think you can only repair mid duty if you have the right crafting jobs leveled right? I've leveled some DOH classes but honestly just use npcs to repair anyway.
