But I really hope Yoshi P reconsiders at least adding a personal parser. Like I said, I only want to see my dps, no one else's. -and hey, if people don't want to see their own parse, give them the option to toggle it off. I don't want to bother downloading ACT reeeeeeee

Part of their argument was based on the said person's dps being "fine*." This can't be countered without verifying it.

and you can verify it without being an ahat about it and posting screenshots of said things all over the forum and assuming the worst based on the parse of 1 fight which was god knows when. Need I remind you that FFlogs does not record every single fights you have participated in. It records what people decide to upload which leads to very skewed results. There is a reason why people suggest you should go look for the top 80-90 percentile to find the people who actually know how to play.

I don't know what point you are trying to make to me, but it's clearly not getting across, and we are kinda just going back and forth at this point - so I'm just going to drop it.

My interpretation of this might be off but i think the point james is trying to make is that despite that person having an horrible attitude people going below their level and basically publicly shaming them is not okay.
Go do your research and call them out but this was taken a step too far imo.

Not related to this incident anymore but if you resort to getting someone's parses to put them down as a player instead of picking their arguments apart then you're a petty person. Unfortunatly that happens in this forum quite a bit.

People did. The resulting screenshots were provided as evidence.

When someone's entire argument is based around their damage, looking up exactly how much they do is picking apart their argument. Nobody was going after them on a personal level beyond how terrible their attitude was.

Moral of the Story:

If you don't like Parsing, Create/Join a Community where no one does it and stay to yourself, problem solved.

If you want to parse and don't want to deal with lazy Players who refuse to play better and self improve, Create/Join a Community where no one does it and stay to yourself, problem solved.

I don't know why people haven't done this, Idk why said casual felt the need to be so bratty about it, logs were pull and yah it wasn't cool but, don;t make baseless claims™ People may not like the sound of it, but you're always gonna have toxic players on both ends, and lazy players on both ends, report them, move on.

As always remember, the issue isn't the parser, its the people.

Thanks to parsing, a rando DPS will occasionally get my commendation instead of the usual tank/healer, because I can see they are doing well.
