Nothing wrong with being new or going into a dungeon blind. Though if you’re doing something to get yelled at more than once, I’m curious to what exactly you’re doing to warrant such attacks? I get that sometimes their are bad apples in df though, but generally most people are usually silent.

It's just bad apples, honestly. I guess they were either being impatient with me for not knowing, or they were having a bad day or something.
When I'm in a dungeon, I try to pay attention to my surroundings and not run ahead of the tank; if anything I'm actually ensuring that I stay closer to the healer and other dps when we're taking care of the mobs. Learning as I go, more or less. Hence my confusion whenever such things happen. I never say anything in the party chat except for thanking everyone for the party, letting others know whether or not it's my first time running a dungeon, and overall just being cordial and respectful. I guess I'm just not used to people acting a certain way, especially in public spaces like MMO's :'D

Another funny and maybe "embarassing"? experience: I got Stone Vigil in Leveling yesterday on GNB yesterday. During the 2nd boss with the cannons, I sudddenly noticed near the end of the boss' health that a party member wrote "Tank, pull the boss to A" and was slighty puzzled at first. Only after the battle, I realized that the writer had put the A waymarker near the entrace, probably to let the tornados not interfer with firing the cannons. Yeah... No matter the dungeon I tend to tunnelvision *HARD* in the midst of battle; as a clicker I paid at first most attention to my skill bars but tried to pay more and more attention to also the boss cast bar. However, the chat window tends to disappear from sight after a while .

This is a funny one, a few weeks ago, I ran SB dungeon with a BLM, they were doing relatively great honestly, and thanks to them being my dance partner, they were doing juicy damage, buuuuuut as per the usual, they stood in almost every AOE no matter what, I jokingly made fun of them, and the whole run was basically the party making jokes about AOEs, twas fun.

Flash forward to today, finally leveling BLM, I queue into Sirensong Sea, I see, you guessed it, the same BLM, this time playing MCH, and of course on the first boss, I suddenly start standing in AOEs for the sake of Ley Lines, the love of my life, and immediately the MCH jokes about it and reminds me of last week. Twas a really good laugh and I was shocked he recognized me, hell he even commented on how I picked up on the basic rotation quickly.
