    That's unfair. If a VPN fixes your issues then it's a routing issue and that's down to you ISP/country's internet infrastructure. This proves it's not an SE issue.

    The game will be limited due to console because they have outdated, or quickly outdated, technology in them that has to last for 10 years or so.

    SE dont want to have a two-tier experience so it will always be limited by whatever the limits of the consoles du jour.

    It wasn't PS3 limitations, it was just PS limitations. And maybe XBox soon.

    fyi the base PS4 is higher spec than min pc reqs for the game. so no it's not because of consoles.

    None of these will be implemented. A new mmo needs to be made for these to be put in, unfortunately. Especially for graphics upgrades.

    A repair all in armoury chest option would be nice.

    Wondrous Tails to offer retry point when you queue up for a roulette as the adventurer in need.

    Mounts for healers as they are now becoming the adventurer in need more often after the changes.

    More stones for completing Fates with a max level job.

    I agree with most of your post. We certainly need new HD textures, if nothing else, especially on armour and equipment because the game was showing its age even back in 2013 - They downgraded the graphics from 1.x, only for systems to catch up to that level of processing power by the time ARR came out, i never understood that - Yes, MMOs are typically designed with lower settings in mind so that the highest possible ammount of people can play it...But come on, some of this games textures look awful if you put them to scrutiny

    Spanish localisation...I doubt that's going to happen, to be honest. This game has over 6 years of content in it now, it'll take the better part of 2-3 years to translate it for what is arguably only a small side market when other languages are in higher demand, such as Chinese or Russian.

    DX12 is certainly something i'd like to see, but i doubt we'll see it any time soon. I think someone asked about this in the past a good year or two ago, and i think they wanted to focus more on higher res (4k and 8k) support, ultrawide support, and multi-display support more than DX12 but its certainly something that has to be in the back of their minds, surely? Still, i doubt we'll see it until 7.0 at least.

    Agreed about the hair thing - Im sure it'd only take them to ask and Nvidia will jump on board with them to implement hair works, if they wanted.

    I'm not sure what the minimum is, but I probably am running close to it, running between 10-20 FPS in game.

    A Spanish localization would be very nice indeed. That said, Square Enix doesn't seem to be reinvesting FFXIV revenue back into the game. If a Spanish localization was profitable, you'd think that there would already be one.

    The localization and advertising would probably be the most expensive aspects of a Spanish FFXIV launch. Given the sheer amount of text in the current game (given the hundreds of thousands of strings for items, abilities, quest text, NPC dialogue, etc), it might have to be like the Chinese FFXIV launch where the localization is years behind current content. In that case, I can see why a Spanish localization wouldn't happen.

    Hmm, expansion...

    My top wishes are

    - Graphic Overhaul and Gameplay Overhaul with FF14 moving to PS5, stopping PS4 Support with everyone who has it now for PS4 switching for free to the PS5 version to make the next gen jump as smooth n quickly done as possible, PS5 will be downward compatible to PS4 n rumors say even up to PS2 due to emulation and together with this as well a map design overhall, making maps bigger, fusing smaller maps together to remove loading times completely basically and bring all old content maps to same gameplay quality as the other since Heavensward on, letting us fly n ARR maps, that get reworked and incredased in size and adding more explorable maps on the continents, the amount of explorable maps this game has after all this time is TINY, compared to other MMORPGs like GW2 for example, that provides far far far more explorable maps, which feel also all much more full of live design wise and like dead fire n forget maps likein FF14 has them constantly only, that feel soulless
    If FF14 would ever get to look like FF7Remeke, by using its far superior engine for the game design, gosh, that would be a dream even I can't imagine for myself, how awesome FF14 would look like under that graphic monster that this engine is, that truly shows us with FF14 the best most truest poweer of what the PS4 is capable of, with the PS5 standing right before us, coming the end of this year surpassing that tenfold

    Old content of FF14, like ARR to partwise HW still looks today like being made for PS3 at its best peak time of performance, simply said, outdated. FF14 needs a HD Remaster that brings the whole game and all of its content onto the same level of game design quality, as if it would be only one single huge game that has been created in 1 go and not like in so far 4 steps within the last decade n longer of time.
    PS4 is already holding the game back to be able to show its full potential and do I say as PS4 player who started the game on PS4. By the time 6.0 comes, is the PS5 already long out I guess and many people will switch to it quickly due to the downward compability.Even if SE doesn't stop quickly the PS4 support, that downward compability sure does help in speeding things up this time for everyone.

    - Massive improval on endgame content, reaching out quick for Max Level 100 and stopping the cap increase then and focus they game more on endgame content and character progression without raising anymore the Level Cap like a never ending carrot chase. As part of that add a Talent System for horizontal character progression, add final Job Improvements/Changes to Master Jobs as final Job Tiers, advanced last versions of what we have now, example > Samurais turning into Shogun's, a higher ranked, far more experienced version of a simple samurai.

    - Implementation of long wished Gold Saucer Minigames like Blitzball, Snowboarding, Motorcycle Ride ect to get it a bit closer to the FF7 original and providing with Blitzball a first team based Minigame hopefully designed after the FFX gameplay, not the worser FFX-2 one that was totally boring n bad.

    - Add as playable new Jobs the Necromancer as scythe wielding Melee Healer and Alchemist as ranged slingshot or chain-sickle wielding medium Ranged DPS with magical longranged Homunculus Pet at their side, the Crafter term gets renamed then to Scientist or Witcher/Witch with all the potion, elixier n concoction brewing that would be a nice witcher hommage, despite not letting them end up as demonhunters xD

    - add Hunting Grounds as endgame content that are there for playefs just to relax in them, while hunting eitheer solo or as party in Monster Hunter style all kinds of monsters for they valuable loot that can be turned in for all kinds of rewards and gil, to have players as veteran player you want to play in to farm in there, if you are just bored of fates and roulettes and have completed the MSC, waiting for it that the story continues.
    Or a new cool 100 stock like dungeon crawler, that is each time you enter, different.
    Or like some kind of Lufia Style cave of trial, where your level n gear gets resetted and where you can find unique gear, that exists only ther, which is the only stuff you can keep, when leaving the cave.

    - defnetely add alot more faces, hairstyles ect to the game, remove more gender n race locks on hairstyles where it makes sense. Adding more tribes per race and making your choice of the tribe more impactful

    - Improval of combat, by making Element and Condition Weaknesses and Resistences meanungful and interesting again, sure, wont work as well for scripted combat instances like trials or raids, but the normal pve game against trash mobs, hunts ect would make alot more fun.

    - Huge overhaul of this games terrible inventory system

    - Removal of the tomestone garbage system and time limited rewards that exists only to stroke virtual epeens of a minority of FF14 elitists so that they can be the ones who clear savage content for a few months, in BIS gear avaiable to the point, that it immensively slows down all players, which play all jobs in gearing up. I tested it out now, collected each week the ridiculous cap of 450 stones, did each weak raids ect... And for what all this effort? Just to be able to have BARELY outfitted 3 out of 7 gear types for all of the jobs, before the newest tomestom comes already with much better gear to grind for and having to begon from start onagain with 0 out of 7 being completely max geared. These time and tome limits are absolute nonsense and should be removed hopefully with the next add on that finally ends the Ascian-Saga and begins after all the years a great new one that ends from then on this tomestone crap

    The whole reward system of FF14 needs to get for once an overhaul, way too much fire n forget one time rewards, nothing that really encourages players too keep playing, even if you are done with the story already.
    All this game has so far is only a seemingly neverending gear hunt with totally stupid n pointless restrictions, just so that active players never are able to gear out all jobs, before the tomestone currency gets replaced n removed for the next one.
    And all this effort just for a minority of players, that is only happy with their tiny low lifes, if they can stick others under their noses visually, that they are something better than anyone else, who doesn't wear thd latest best weapon from a savage boss chest, or doesn't wear already best accessoires, while all other get to that ilvl stuff first like felt 3 MONTHS plus later, while having to grind much longer due to having to grind also the time limited tomestone crap n time limited multiple different upgrade items, before you get 1 of your characters/gear types max equpped, that a savage player has eventually done in a few hours to days...

    This needs to get equalized. evefy players, regardles if now savage content player or not, should be able to gear out their characters equally fast.

    Savage Content players shouldn't be rewarded several months long with a pointless privilege of being the only and fastest best geared playrrs of everyone, because that gives them a tiny unfair advantage over eveyone else eventually not same as much skilled player. Their rewards should become solely and uniques based on glamourd only, visual fluff, but not and game attribute and time efficiency advantages in gearing your jobs all up to BIS and I defintely hope that SE has for 6.0 enough courage to make this improval for the majority of this game, that doesn't play FF14 for savage instance contebt, but actually mainly for fun and this game's good story, while wanting to play all jobs and gettim them all as quickly as possible tp play the game fully any time with any job, without comming into the situation, that you can't do certain game content with tje job you want to play at the moment, because of never being able to gear them up fast enough due to all those time limits everywhere


    Wow, now I feel better, that needed to get out finally, the last point, that sounds more like a little rant, than a suggestion, but I carried this with me for a year now

    FF14 limits progression way too much. Can unstand this for game balance, but absolutely not at all for character proggresion. Just feels only like a punishment to players, that don't play more n longer FF14, than the typical 0815 casual gamer who plays the game only like twice a week for like 30-40 mins each time.

    In a perfect scenario adds SE first more better new gear, when the average players have geared out all 7 gear types with the current existing BIS gear, which need to be obtainable in similar time effort in at least two different ways.

    I hope so much the next expansion can fix this situation, but I guess, thats most likely only all wishful thinking by me.
