that is literally not possible.you know I bet you can gift trick to send it to american or Euro region lol just by setting up an account in that reign and use paypal or something idk though I would think they would be okay with ppl doing that because it would require 2 game accounts and they still get paid in it if it would even work that is lol

Yep. Which is why we are the ones who have to wait half a year to get to the same part of MSQ as the rest of the world does. Oh wait, that's korea and china.Lets be honest we in the NA/EU Regions are nothing more to SE (and a lot other asian game companys) than an easy big cash grab. Their main focus will allways be the asian community. I like this game and a lot of other jrpgs, but its no secret that for a very very long time they (espacily japan) didnt even though about showing a lot of their games to the rest of the world and threating us like a nuisance. Sometimes we got a game that allready was released ages ago in Asia with minimum support and a real shity port, but with the NA/EU price for a new AAA game.
Even if they get a lot of money from us, we will neve be threated with the same priority as players from asia.
Squeenix is not in charge of the special items china and korea get, the publishers for those versions are. Squeenix just models it for them. But on the flipside, people in those markets are like half a year to a year behind on everything else content wise.
And one last point, you talk about NA/EU being left out in the cold, you do realize that the JP servers don't get those items either right? They get them at the same time as we do.

These items aren't available in Japan either, so far as I know?Lets be honest we in the NA/EU Regions are nothing more to SE (and a lot other asian game companys) than an easy big cash grab. My understanding is that JP/NA/EU are run by SquareEnix, but that in China the game is licensed to Shengqu Games to run (who also handle the Chinese versions of AION, D&D Online, etc.), and in Korea, it's licensed to Actoz Soft; SquareEnix gives them the codebase and certain conditions (i.e. they can't completely alter the game and misrepresent the story, etc.). Hence the servers being entirely different/separate from ours.
Shengqu and Actoz sell game time, but it isn't by calendar days; it's sold by the hour as I understand it, and runs down like the minutes on a prepaid cellular plan. As a result, they—Shengqu in particular—push the cash shop really fiercely, and so create a lot of content of their own to put into the cash shop. This is why you get stuff that's exclusive to China (because Shengqu made that content to add to their cash shop) or Korea (because Actoz made that content to add to their cash shop).
SquareEnix doesn't have those items in the Mog Station for what some folks call the 'global' version—i.e., JP/NA/EU—that they run because they didn't make and don't own the items. If they want to bring those items back to the global version, they have to talk to Shengqu or Actoz—depending on the region the exclusive item comes from—and negotiate to use it in the global version.
They're demonstrably willing to do that when it becomes clear it's stuff we want—witness that we've gotten a lot of formerly-exclusive material added to the Mog Station—but it's not like it's an instant thing, and I strongly suspect the reason that sort of content comes over sporadically is that not only does SE need to go get the rights to use it from Shengqu or Actoz, but they probably also wait until they can deal with it in groups of more than one or two items at a time.
It would not surprise me if SquareEnix also had to pay the originator (Shengqu or Actoz) a fee for each of the licensed items distributed in-game, which would pretty much require any such content to be in the Mog Station.
On that note... yes, I want the glam, too. That peacock coat is amazing.
You can keep saying it but there will be people time and time again who missed the memo. Not like there was a memo to begin with and less and less fresh players know how it works. For one last time, China and Korean does not have subscription model.
Their players charged by either monthly card or "pay by the minutes you play"
Both regions are not directly controlled by SE and SE only make sure both regions are not conducting any out of bound.
Both regions will need to put resources into making these exclusive items in order to secure more incoming revenue.

I was just telling a friend yesterday about that peacock coat and mount. Good gods, I want them <3

I don't think we should blame on being ignorant
This is a really old discussion thread since June 2016 of 60+ pages.

Reading before commenting is not difficult.
Original OP stops complaining after he read the thread, isn't it?
Reading 64 pages of discussion, some points now are invalid by changes in what is in game. Yes. It is difficult. Because it takes a long time, eats up useless time, and it is easier to skim the first page and look at the last 3.I don't think we should blame on being ignorant
