Not to mention people who played / still have their accounts back from XI have a different "Character create" intro cutscene than the rest of us.
That's not from Final Fantasy XI. That's from Final Fantasy XIV 1.0. A Realm Reborn was XIV version 2.0. The calamity happened when they closed down 1.0, which was not related to XI at all.
