As a side note I'd like to clarify something about my post -- I have nothing against people like haku - who simply asked hey please can we have info? That's one thing.. my post is directly aimed at this crowd .. and people say the defenders are rude? I think we have a right to be when people are being blatantly rude on the forums. If your being a dick, expect to be treated like a dick.
-Signing off -
I agree thanks for understanding my post
I never said it was only one way
In fact, I think both sides are being rude in the same level. I think we should relax and just give an opinon and let the others be.
Please read what I said and stop with this jumping to accusations... I am not bashing you or anyone else really. I am simply stating that when something is posted some people may take what is posted differently then what you expected. I am in no was saying you bashed anyone... Also I am not attacking you for I do not attack I simply try to see things in different ways.
Many others on here (not you Haku) are really getting out of hand with the back and forth and what I am saying is you all need to look at what you are saying and think of how someone else would take what you said... maybe if worded differently it wouldn't come across that same way?
The cat is bemused =-.-=
Saying "I don't care, give me info." is pretty rude. Although I wouldn't go as far as some of the responses, I pretty much agree with them. Human beings should always matter more than pixels and data.
I understand what some are saying about wanting info, not a blog. And those who have posted that respectfully, I respect that. I just don't agree either.
Yoshi-P should be able to post what he likes without the community having a meltdown.
I said this before but I'll say it again since everyone seems to keep bringing up "It's a New Year's Letter, why are you all so heartless?"
Yes it's a New Year's greeting... in late January. It's 1/23 today folks. This is a very thoughtful letter, and would have been an enjoyable read alone on like 1/6, maybe 1/10, but it's 1/23. We've waited well beyond the holiday drought of information and have thus far only gotten pictures and some lore on a system for 1.21.
(Read whiteknights: it's just pictures and lore, it's not "It might not be important to you..", because they didn't explain the chocobo equipment system at all; it's just pictures and lore)
I would LOVE hard information on 1.21 content (and a rough ETA) as I sit here wondering if I should just cancel my account for the month of February, because I'm a busy college student that has completed most current content and would rather not pay to log on and do nothing for the next month.
I really wish more people were like you. The way you word yourself makes me actually want to listen. It's a lot more effective than if you had started the post by telling me how stupid I was =)Saying "I don't care, give me info." is pretty rude. This. A lot of my friends are doing the same thing...all canceling because of bordem/lack of info on updates. I can't say I blame them. Not asking for every single last detail about the patch and what is to come..just some little info here and there about content. ;~;I would LOVE hard information on 1.21 content (and a rough ETA) as I sit here wondering if I should just cancel my account for the month of February, because I'm a busy college student that has completed most current content and would rather not pay to log on and do nothing for the next month.
all you people do is complain. you would think as much as yall complain all of you would be making millions with a game that you developed or developing (wait a minute thats why you all are here complaining cause your not....silly me) the mans human im glade he gives us updates on more than just the game. this update gives us americans that still live with there momma (most of you) and the ones that have never been to japan (and never will) a look at there culture and is actually sharing it with us. ignorance smfh its like watching a toddler cry about putting clothes on... these QQ'ers smfh again. if you want to leave *opens the door * there you go see you at 2.0

But you CAN take "time off". But that's a decision you will have to make based on your feelings. If this letter gave you nothing to look forward too then by all means, take off for the month. If you wanna hold out another 30 days or so to see what happens, you can do that as well. As a college student I'll make the assumption your life means more than a game. If you're busy with important real life aspects, don't let a letter from a game stop you from doing what you should do. If the letter would have been chalked full of info and you felt it was worth 10$ cool if not cool as well.I would LOVE hard information on 1.21 content (and a rough ETA) as I sit here wondering if I should just cancel my account for the month of February, because I'm a busy college student that has completed most current content and would rather not pay to log on and do nothing for the next month.
You could just take off, come back after a slew of updates so you could HAVE more to do as well you know? Now I'm not telling you to GTFO or anything rude at all; just seemed odd your reasoning for paying or not paying. You have a real life with school and if nothing is going on in game, take the time off...you know the game will still be here when you have more time to come back and play and have fun.
