    TLDR:
    DRK sucks leveling.
    DRK is strong currently in the raids in magical focused TBs and especially in TEA DRK is the best tank with 50% of the fight it doe more damage than all other tanks due to having the best multi-target damage output.
    That being said, yes, Living Dead still sucks, and the sky is blue.

    Wait, what? Says who? I use LD all the time in a variety of groups. Simply letting the healer know before hand is all that's required. Same with Superbolide.

    While DRK isn't the most interesting experience in leveling content I'd say calling it terrible is quite far from the truth. We got through all of the leveling content when shadow wall was a 3 minute cooldown, reprisal was single target and we didn't have arm's length. If we were still talking of having nothing but Rampart and Shadow wall for the mostly physical mobs of dungeons I'd get behind this but we have 2 more role action cooldowns for mobs now.

    The AOE is different but it's completely free and spammable. Yes, the second AOE at 72 turns DRKs AOE into black magic with mana and blood generation but spamming 150 potency Unleash and throwing a few 300 potency ocgd floods in there before that level is far from terrible. Remember what we used to do in content below old Abyssal drain? Some 50 potency unleashes, 1 drk passenger for 140/280 potency depending on DA and then single target.

    Enemies in leveling content are dying much faster now while you have more mitigations than you used to. Just to repeat it: DRK might not be the best tank in leveling content but terrible? No, just no.

    Until just this morning I would have said it's just you, but I have been leveling GNB on another server the last few weeks.

    I did a leveling roulette this morning as DRK on my main, was in Shisui, and all I could think the entire time was "I HAVE NO MORE COOLDOWNS TO USE, BECAUSE DARK MIND IS NOT GOING TO HELP AND I DON'T HAVE TBN YET" repeatedly. It really felt like the lack of the two extra physical cooldowns was a major hindrance. I felt bad for my healer.

    Now, I've been playing DRK since HW dropped, and this is the first time I had this particular feeling. Before it was always something more akin to "BWUAHAHAHA PULL AND KILL EVERYTHING I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU". Actually putting more time into a different tank made some of the pre-70 issues more painfully obvious.

    DRK doesn't feel terrible for lack of mitigation for me, but rather the lack of identity, monotonous new Delirium mechanic, everything feeling like it's built around TBN, abyssal drain being nerfed into the ground... etc. It doesn't feel dynamic anymore, you're just a literal meat shield.

    The loss of the Quietus/Blood Price/DA+AB feedback loop makes big pulls during sub-70 dungeons a bit more challenging than it used to be. Even after the MP gain on BP was nerfed, it was still enough in a large pull to self-sustain via DA+AB combined with the MP gain on Quietus. I really miss Blood Price sometimes.

    They should make "living dead" a passive ability. It gets activated at 1% health or on the verge of being KO'd, the ability will have a cool down for 6 mins.

    what if while we are under the "walking dead" status we could push the living dead key again to heal ourselves 100% of our hp at the cost of putting living dead into a 7 min cooldown?

    That way we could use ld every 5 min as always and if worse comes to worse we could up ourselves but with a big cost of +2 min cd.
