Its 1200 potency, however it has no ability to crit or direct hit, meaning it will lose out to Sensei just from that, but also bear in mind that Samurai also has a 13% damage up constantly too, so its more than 1100 potency really.Wildfire does little damage? Its 1200 potency if you land 6 GCDs. By comparison, Samurai's Sensei is also a 2 min cooldown that hits for 1100.
And by the way, most buttons in the game are "push to do more damage". Samurai's Kaiten and Tsubame-Gaeshi are literally just that. That's what DPS is.
I honestly dont have a huge problem with Heat Blast gameplay. I feel like there's a good rhythm to it weaving gauss rounds and ricochet in between.
Flamethrower can use some work, for sure, as I can't find big use from it outside of going pyromaniac on big packs. Maybe if it increased heat through usage again, allowing us to use Hypercharge more often it'd be worth it.
I've actually enjoyed this MCH much more than the SB one.
