Wow is translated to Spanish cause it has a market spot and servers dedicated for Brazil / South America where Spanish is a big part of their language. I don't see much about SA and FF14 being popular cause they don't have servers close to that area at all so their ping would be crazy high.
IT IS OFFICIAL 100%Are you quite sure this is an official page maintained by Square Enix? The official website only links to https://www.facebook.com/finalfantasyxiv regardless of language version. I was able to find a few other similarly named FFXIV facebook pages in different languages, including German, Spanish and Russian (out of these only German is an officially supported language). Common to all of these is that they lack the "Confirmed Page Owner: SQUARE ENIX, INC." indication in the page transparency box which the English version has.
IN FACT if i click YOUR link i get redirected to the page I am talking about!!!
For the 1000 time, IT'S not auto translated!!! And as i said to the other user above if i click on the link for the english facebook page i am redirected to the italian one, i'll post some screenshots in a minuteYeah, that redirects me to the English version of the official page. I don't currently have a vpn so I can't mask my dns to view what you're seeing. Screenshot it maybe?
Again, just because you see the title of the products in English doesn't mean that the post wasn't auto-translated. If you a translating from a French or German post then any English words will remain in English while the rest of the French or German in the post will get translated to Italian. This happens because auto-translate only translates from one specific language to another specific language and doesn't change anything it doesn't recognize as part of the language it is translating from.

German and Japanese are 12th and 13th.

Not really difficult to see why the game is translated into the 4 languages its translated into.
WoW all around has a bigger budget than FFXIV, and while we don't have exactly numbers, a much larger concurrent playerbase generally unless BFA has severely tanked but there's no hard data on that.
Those other games are single releasees, maybe with some dlc but not games being perpetually updated every few months, so I can see why there would be less languages for FFXIV than those others.
As for the page, idk what's up with that. If it's an official SE thing then that's bad, but if it's auto translated or something that would explain the errors. I'd be surprised if SE Is putting out official posts in languages the game doesn't support but I guess it's possible they do.
Mostly because of similar rules. Spanish-speaking America is quite balkanized with different rules even if they mostly speak Spanish so it's harder to get into the market.
also, a question for the one that sees the english version of the page, how many likes does that page have? cause the Italian one has 800k likes and i higly doubt that the italian community is so large.
i think the page is only one, and if i remember correctly facebook allows to show different versions of a page based on the location you access it.
if the english page has indeed 800k likes it means we're talking about 2 versions of the same page
Its auto translated.also, a question for the one thata sees the english version of the page, how many likes does that page have? cause the Italian one has 800k likes and i higly doubt that the italian community is so large.
