Because it's pretty narrow minded to think that only one Race "looks Black" when as SturmChurro said below there are many options in this game that make us look "Black" we're not just some weird stereotype and many of our features don't reside in just one type of look to qualify as Black.

The best part of the LL was just how much time Yoshida dedicated to talking about our characters rears. I'm honestly kind of shocked it was mentioned at all to be honest, It was highly entertaining.

I have a Japanese friend. While she doesn't play her younger cousin does and according to her, her cousin and her friends were raving about having a butt now. My guess would be that it's a big deal in Japan as well.
