Pole Dance Emote and Furnishing: When Do We Get It?

My thought is if they implemented this it really wouldn't be an issue so much with animations than it would be with sizing. The animations would be set for a specific height, and larger models would either fail to grab the pole or sink their feet/legs into the floor. Of course then there is Lalafell and rigging the animations to fit their models too... They have much shorter limbs than the other models and would cause some horrendous stretching if probably not adjusted. Aside from that even if it were easy enough to do I imagine they don't want players making those kinds of establisments in their personal spaces.

Please, hasn't every single WoD in here canonically danced at the Beehive as part of the MSQ? Plus we routinely attack and murder people so I donno why some are trying to draw the morality line at dancing lol.

I'd love to see it, but I imagine that making the animation work in conjunction with a pole for any race who's not decidedly Average would be difficult to justify, considering the demand isn't very high. Races like roe, hro, and lalas being very difficult already, and even elezen and male au ra would probably pose a challenge just from limbs.

I do think it's a very fair ask to let us have some of the Beehive/Eulmore furnishings though, so we could create the same vibe in our homes if we want. Maybe not an interactive pole but as decoration for a stage should be easy enough to add. I'd also be happy if we could just use the poles at the Beehive, even if we don't get a personal one at home - there are a lot of animations that NPCs do that I'd love to see but the fact this one involves a stationary prop doesn't have me very optimistic, since the only other animations that do are what... /sit and /doze?

The main problem here is most likely to get the animations actually working - may I remind everyone that we dont get any emotes interacting with each other is mainly because they cant get them to work properly (according to Yoshi-P when asked about a "High-Five"- emote) aswell as the new /lean emote not really interacting with the envoriment either, seeing how you can lean against an invisible wall basically everywhere (unlike /sit and /doze the emote also doesnt notice when you're close to an actual wall to lean against).

Any emote that makes your interact with the world seems rather difficult and has a huge potential of turning out "wrong" or "funny", specially considering the different bodybuilds of the different races. They've been very careful - thankfully! - not to add stuff thats not up to certain quality standards.

That being said: I'd very much like to see some of the furniture - more so the stages and sofas than the pole, but eh, throw that in with the rest (it looks like it could be an intresting item to use for all sorts of decorations - from bars on a cell to a selfamde clothes-hanger). I wouldnt hold my breath for a pole-dance-emote though - but with a pole in your house you could obviously just use any dance next to it to get as close as possible...

It may simulate what happens in the world but we are suppose to be looked up to as an inspiration to other people in the world. Not selling off our bodies for money.

It's funny you say that since a lot of players tend to dress like strippers because the game allows us to via glamour prisms. If this game can have npc prostitutes, then it can have strippers as well.

It's one thing to have this stuff for story reasons. It's another to allow actual players do it and risk shooting the game rating up to M because of what could happen due to the emote existing.
