Welp, it's not everyday you get to meet your (in)famous forum celebrities but I just did.

Queued as WAR for normal raid roulette. Got the alexander raid with Cruise Chaser as boss. Truth be told, might be the 3-4th time I've ever done this boss since I've played the game so everything was fuzzy.

Everything somewhat okay though I did slightly panic at Lapiz adds when some people basically did not notice the adds for a bit. Yes, the gigantic big balls scattered over the arena.

Anyways, we down the boss to 2-3% when I noticed everyone's practically dead, with me and only one DNC alive left. It looks like all is lost as my hp is whittling down when DNC uses LB and saves the raid.

As I'm hovering my mouse over to comm the living DNC, whose name do I see? Selli Noblesse. That's right, our unfairly forum banned Selli Noblesse.

So SB2 has been a very odd time for me, I used to main monk but I stopped cause I didn't like the direction it's headed in, tried mch but I feel like I'm not playing and understanding how to play it effectively, same with dancer and now I'm trying ninja and I feel like I'm making people hate me. Been running the dungeons at 70 since I just got ninja to it and I feel like I'm not playing right at all. But the thing is, I am telling people I think I'm playing horrible and everyone I've talked to has said -You're fine-. I might be over thinking it but I feel like I'm really not fine. I don't want to say people are lying, but in my head I really have no idea what I'm doing. Like the basics are simple enough, it's just trying to do the advance stuff that makes me think I'm all over the place. Honestly that's how I felt with mch too. I'm not naive, I know if I REALLY sucked people would tell me. Or atleast I hope they would.

I'm looking over guides but a good chunk of them are for 80, I'm only 70 and alot of the stuff is going over my head. Maybe I should just stick to tanking? But I don't want to give up on it.. least not yet. I could just be over thinking it all and just keep practicing... I dunno. I know it's odd to ask for advice on here since I don't think any of you guys ran into me ingame or seen a video so it's kindof hard to pinpoint things I can improve on with just text... but am I just over thinking this? What do you guys think?

Just had the best DNC ever in Bardam's Mettle. Not using standard step on cooldown, getting hit by aoes constantly, and complaining about me using an LB on a big trash pack when both of us were ranged (I was on RDM) classes.

You won't find someone saying outright "you suck" they would risk getting banned. Never put that in chat.

I have been leveling ninja, with the level 70 skillset. Now, I haven't read any guides, or looked up a rotation. I am no master, but I can give some basics.. First and foremost, you will want to memorize your jutsu, to the point you can cast one in a matter of seconds. You will want to figure out what should be used when, where, and at what time for optimal DPS output. The general rotation is extremely simple, it is pretty much 1, 2, 3, with positionals (which should be fine if you are used to monk already), and a slightly weaker skill (armor crush) that will extend your time with huton - huton a ninjutsu which you should have up at all times if possible. You also have Ninki gauge, but this is very simple. Just use bhavacakra on single targets, and hellfrog medium on groups. Keep in mind the DoT takes up the GCD. I like to use dream within a dream, and assassinate, in combination with it.

Ninja is extremely simple to play, the hard part is mastering the jutsu, which seems more complicated than it actually is. Get out there and become the ninja I know you can be, believe it!

For a job that looks so simple on paper there are a few details that lot of players miss like not realising that your dance buffs have a huge AOE potency or letting the AOE procs from Flourish going to waste on single targets (and the single target procs on AOE fights).

I could respond in kind, but I'm not going to - it's obvious you want that, and it may just be that I hit a little too close to home for you, but whatever.

Any Dancer worth their salt has come across the many that don't get better and ain't better even at 80. .

Not gonna lie, I have actually posted "You suck" or some variation on multiple occasions in the past and while I know karma will bite me in the rear someday, I just can't help myself. I'm a blunt individual that doesn't take nonsense lightly. I get so triggered when I see even the most basic of things be completely ignored or done poorly; The no AoE DPS, the no CD Tanks, the no healing Healers. I do try and help people, put on my best Retail smile and offer advice but when I see level 80s pulling stuff like that, there are no kid gloves for them. I'm not expecting 99th percentile parses but to, at least have a firm enough understanding of your job to do the basics consistently.
