Devs finally managed to piss me off.

I can understand the annoyance at them 'wasting time' on giving us all goobbues... any amount of time, even if it's for a lettered patch.

However... it's a small update. If you're mad that you didn't receive much during this update (except a goobbue), then you don't know how these things work... or you do and you're trolling.

For the next few days, you'll see dozens running around halfheartedly with our goobbues... and then I doubt you'll see much of it after that. We all know it looks ridiculous, especially with such a lack of a storyline. It's here as a GIFT, as a THANK YOU from the dev's for staying around. I would have preferred they spend their time elsewhere, but I'm willing to take what I get, including exclusivity in a mount I'll probably never use.

It will be a lot cooler when it IS actually exclusive, in a year when PS3 players are in full swing and can never, ever have one. Right now, it's dumb. I'll continue using my chocobo happily.

Dear OP,

Are you serious?

This is a lettered patch. In most cases, all we get are a few minor adjustments to some mechanics and a handful of bug fixes.

This is actually a step UP from what we normally get in these patches. Your expectations of getting any kind of real content in such a minor patch are misguided.
