Entitled people kick from FC harassing after??

I am from Tonberry and run an FC for sometime now (8 months) I have seen my fair share of good and bad. In this FC we have a set of rules that keep it in place and when someone doesn't align with the standards that is set or breaks rules, then that person is removed. This was made clear to everyone.

Yesterday, 2 of my FC members who were bad mouthing me on stream when I was helping them do a raid. Only after the raid, I watched their VOD and overheard them bad mouthing me and talking a lot of trash. So I confronted them about it. They then deleted the VOD and tried to talk their way out of it when confronted and even admitted that it was toxic of them to do so and were being biased and defended the person who even called me a "MF", so right then and there I was going to kick them both from the FC for that, but instead talked about it and the conversation just went around in circles, in the end I gave them a warning. Later on I was discussing this with some people in the FC, they also didn't think it was very nice of them to do what they did and disrespected me as a FC leader and member of the FC. So I thought they weren't worth keeping around so I decided to remove them from the FC entirely after I put up an announcement in FC chat. If they could talk bad about me like that, then they can also do it to the FC members, that's not the environment I want in my FC.

After I removed them there was an FC member who was biased towards them because they are "friends", they ranted on the FC chat and created commotion and more unnecessary drama how they didn't agree to my decision and will leave just because they didn't like it when I kicked their friends from the FC. After their little rant, I removed them from the FC as well.

Later, they came back with people who I kicked from the FC in the past directly to my FC house and a couple extras, who some I recognise and some I don't and the thing about this was that they brought their newly joined FC leader with them who were also there to join in, in harassing, provoking and annoying us. It was a mixed bag really some belonging to a few different FC's. Needless to say they were like a bunch of children throwing a tantrum because they didn't get their way of things. They started to harass me and my FC in front of my FC house, saying all sorts of stuff like "why I blacklist people, why it took so long for me to clear e4s" and a bunch of other stuff. they were obviously trying to annoy and get to me and the other FC members, so we played it cool and smart and they got bored and left. We all filed a report to the GM's afterwards, hopefully they get what they deserve.

In the morning they came back. A FC member notified me about this, but this time there were only 3 of them. Completely different people and from the same FC that harassed us, 1 of them from another FC. They came with intent to provoke and annoy us with their quirky jokes, the members just played it cool and smart, then again they got bored and left 1 by 1.

A lot of people in the Tonberry server already know some of the toxic FCs that were involved in the harassment and who these people and their clique little toxic group are.

Conclusion:
You join an FC so you better abide by the rules that they set, don't join a FC out of a sense of self entitlement like the FC owes you something, when they owe you nothing. So if you get kicked from it for breaking rules then its really simple, you broke the rules so you got kicked for it. Some people can't take it that they got kicked from the FC and out of spite create drama out of it, for their wrong doings and some will play the victim and favouritism game even though the ones that are kicked did something to be kicked for.

Sorry this happened to you.
Good thing you reported them, hopefully
you get contacted back and be rest assured
actions was taken. People just suck sometimes and have
to act like children to get a rise out of people.

As someone who has been running guilds since 2005ish, welcome to guild leadership. This was actually pretty tame compared to some of the things that happen. Just can't let things bother you, do whats best for your guild, in the end its just about being the better person.

The decision to do that was risky, even though it was well warranted. The reason I say it's risky is because of the mini chain reaction from the biased FC member. I've seen chain reactions lead up to 10+ people leaving and usually taking the more popular members with them.. and FC not recovering. Circles within FCs can hold the FC itself hostage.

I agree. Circles in FC's is never a good thing, if people cannot treat others equally and only biased towards their friends then it only causes social issues. Ever since I kicked them from my FC, no one in the FC left because of it and understood why the decision was made, because I had every reason to remove them. We still have a lot of good people in the FC and we are quite happy without them, a lot of the members were really upset because they came back to harass us, but we reported them all to the GM's!

Kicks were certainly warranted and the attitude they displayed afterwards makes it even more apparent why it was justified. Had a similar situation but it was the fc leader that was being the nasty person so I left the fc and everyone else who heard her on stream.

Tbh FC drama is one of the reasons I just stopped actively recruiting for my FC anymore it’s just dragged down the fun of the game for me. The last straw for me was a couple months ago, someone donated a bunch of mats for our airship upgrade project in tier two of the chest which is normally open I told them I was gonna go ahead a lock down that tier of the chest just so no on grabs then and they agreed. A couple hours later they realized that also includes their rank and then they accused me of stealing their mats, I said that was exactly what we discussed earlier but then they openly went to FC chat to call me a thief even though I offered to give their mats back to them they still left and some people I never saw before showed up at the FC house.
