Doing copied factory for the weekly this week is unbearable. I already have the outfit, just doing it for the coin, and gear. It's insane. It is literally as if I am playing with bots, woe is me if I join party B they always kill 2-3 people on conveyor belts with aoe. Absolutely ridiculous. Like I honestly don't know how people are so terrible at the game. Are they playing with their feet? Do they have poor vision not wearing glasses? Are they 82 years old? Christ almighty give me strength.

That isn't to mention the fact that people lack the capacity to learn from mistakes, and actually learn these fights, or think proactively. No. They just die to the same thing over and over and over and over. These people must have dementia or something.

Got my 2B coffer on my first run this week, eighth in total. Was pretty happy about that—I've since run the Copied Factory twice more today in search of actual gear drops and settled for the Tanking gloves where I was hoping to get the Striking chest piece.

Also, apparently the kamikaze attack the stubbies do on the second boss is an AOE. I ended up accidentally killing two of my party members while soaking them all myself. Apologized for it, of course, and I'm not sure if it's just 'cause I was tanking, did particularly well while doing my job, or if they just liked the apology that much, but I ended up walking away from that run with 5 comms.

Half the Alliance can be in a perpetual state of dying or being dead and still clear. Actual wipes are extremely rare and seem to only take place during three specific moments in the entire raid: The add phase on the third boss and the two add phases on the fourth boss. Just relax, don't tunnel vision onto the boss, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you're worried about mechanics.

That's actually really good to know. Super good advice because between this and my own research I know what mechanics to look out for now. Thank you.

Oh, I think I forgot that the average FFXIV player probably lacks common sense, and them stacking aoe is a given. The giant arrows on the ground must be like hieroglyphs to top it off to these people!

Probably long time ago, but the funny thing is the first day of 5.1 patch, Grand Cosmos.
Since no guide at the time, we kinda guess the mechanics all the way. During Final Boss, our party look at the furniture in green names, which has piano and bench. And a Fire boss. My suggestion?

"Look at that guy, we might wanna rush and sit on the couch when it is ready to play piano." Others agreed.

Meanwhile 2nd week of Copied Factory as a Tank. Relatively fast run of 49 minutes.
But the thing with run is probably when people pay attention to hotbar and rotations, they can't see special visual attacks which kind of obvious. Like Engel punch.

Seriously, it strikes a pose which withdraw its flaming arm for a punch, and yet some people stay on the flaming arm side. then the 9s fight, chainsaw thing came with horizontal AOE, already showcase 2 times, and yet people got hit at 3rd time.

The last boss fight after DPS check ultimate (kill adds before 100 gauge). 6/8 died to... front hind cannons of all things, other pt only suffers like 2 death out of 8 for the remaining duration. I blame myself, as a tank, to not chat instructions fast enough.

And then still roll a music patch for this week, seven hells.

I know the Copied Factory is still new and all that but I wish people would have some awareness/know how to play their class at least, had a run where I was healing and I had 2 BLMs and a SCH that had no idea what was going on and we didn't have a new bonus message surprisingly. I would AoE heal and the BLMs would be off in the corners of the arena and their rotations were Blizz 1 x 3, Thunder 3, Fire 3, Freeze, saw maybe 2 Fire 4s and maybe 1 Foul/Despair, the SCH would just spam Adlo on our tank who was never tanking and spammed Succor after until they had 3k mana left and would always die and never summon their fairy or use fairy abilities.

We wiped to the first boss twice, 3rd boss was a 1 shot but the BLMs just thought they could stand in everything so I got tired of rezzing them, we wiped on the final boss because the other 2 Alliances died, I had no mana and then my tank died to the lazors and then not popping a CD to the TB. I think i'll run this just once a week or maybe earlier on Tuesday it was bad, I don't think the BLMs ever lived for more than 40 seconds each fight as I was solo healing most of the run, I didn't even get any comms either sigh.

Took three hours to find a group in pf able to clear E1S.

Had a mixture of WHM partners who would only cast glare, or AST partners in noct sect who’d rarely use shields (AST only seems to be playable in diurnal sect in savage). Then we had tanks who couldn’t swap properly and people who couldn’t do swirling orbs. You’d have thought this would be clockwork by now.

I'm kidding. You can adjust, but the vulnerability stacks will not adjust for them, so let them learn the hard way.

As an aside, I'm probably never gonna perfect "Anti-personnel" and the C platform of the second boss has that Box + Ring + spinny AOE + bubble poison thing all at once + AOE targeted markers.

Third boss in Copied Factory. During the platform change, somebody yelled "QUICK, EVERYONE JUMP TO THE OTHER PLATFORM!" in alliance chat.
