    [Request] Enforced walking phases in dungeons, raids and other duties.

    Respecting the content is highly important, I feel. I've noticed that even when a character within this great community is crossing a narrow bridge or a fallen pillar they run across it as if it were nothing.

    I propose that to increase immersion such situations brought about a new active time event in the form of enforced walking. Perhaps if your character fails to walk in the correct balanced manner they risk falling off and dying? I think it'd be a great way to make duties more engaging and dangerous.

    That's a good point. Maybe more agile classes and races can have an enhanced walking speed to cross obstacles more quickly.

    Dude... I've slain Ascians... traveled to other worlds... been half dead... trekked over mountains... do you honestly think that I am afraid of heights and need to stutter step or crawl?!

    Also please, for the love of god, leave me alone with these idiotic "active time events". Dumb excuse to force mindless button mashing on me. I'm not a console player for a reason.

    Again, it's about respecting the content as members of FFXIV's great community. By the way, what would your favourite immersive walk location be?

    A dungeon where there are parts you have to walk else you aggro a slew of ghosts would be cool.

    There are parts in Qarn normal and hard where you can avoid aggroing groups by walking or giving enemies a wild berth. I do like stuff like that, but it glosses by most people.

    Please no, no tightrope walking or any slow walking spots. By the time I get across that chasm in Don mheg the fight is usually over.
    And imagine having to slow walk the same area several times after a wipe.
