My thought now is, how the devs suddenly came to the idea that changing the body shape just for that outfit was necessary???

Just the way the game works. Every item actually replaces the part of the character model it covers.
They imported the data from Automata and wanted to keep it as accurate as possible. Naturally the rear end factors into that because the item would look silly with the nonexistent Miqo'te butt.

The character mesh is swapped out with that of 2B's. That reason alone is why I wont wear it.

I'm just glad that all my fellow au'ra, hyur, elezen, roe and miqote ladies finally get the booty justice they deserve.

Au Ra has no apostrophe, but Miqo'te does.

It is somewhat interesting that it came a little after we requested a butt slider in the game.
Personally I'm more of a fan of the skindents on the thighs than I am the butt.

Uhm... no sliders, and it's not hard to alter all the current female meshes to have 'nice butts'(this is subjective anyway because there are different kinds of butt shapes...)

It's pretty much proof they could enhance the butts of characters in game and that any further excuses about textures are invalid. Not all bottom pieces really need enhancement such as this so logistically it should be possible as a side project that could be done over time.

I dont like this outfit at all sorry i dont buy it.
It has some really terrible mistakes on it.

Just like you said Tights are too thin, on female elezen boots looks comical.
The cutouts instead of being transparent are coloured mesh and i hate how the entire outfit change my character proportions.
