I don't agree that characters that are dead should be brought back in the main story, but to call upon the spirits of the remembered for optional content would be a sweet compromise. Interacting with those characters without undoing the death in a conflicting msq way would be great.

With how they died in the MSQ, there's really no way to bring them back without it being conflicting. Let those who sleep, continue to sleep.
