    Hopefully it'll succeed at removing a considerable amount of items from the markets and as such make it much more profitable to sell them.

    depends how the levelling works, if can you actually get exp from breaking dungeon drops which are 400 item levels above you current level, if so there is no reason to buy anything unless they are 1 gil.
