I never claimed it was the developer's fault I played so few games. There are reasons - mostly personal ones.
Now I have more time and so I would have liked if the prizes could rotate back in, but I also conceded that I understand that there is no way to guarantee it would be equal work so I understand why it wouldn't happen. I can still wish for something even if I understand why it might not, and probably will not, happen.

But hey, at least I'm not the person asking for them to be in mogstation or wolf marks. Now that would just be insane.

All I ask, whether you disagree or think I'm trying to be aggressive towards you doesn't matter to me in a discussion, all that matters is you understand. Because your point is easy to understand, but obviously impossible for me to agree with given the reasons you've just reiterated. Good luck next season if you choose to play, come by PvPaissa if you wanna improve and see why getting these rewards is a massive ballache by earning whatever comes next for yourself if you so choose.

I can't speak on the dye pattern, but Lone Wolf is better because GOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLDDDDD. The 3D wolve's head on the belt is FAR better than your flat BRONZE eagle belt. I'm looking at yours now, the undyeable portion is harder to work with--red orange, black, wine red--the wine red and red orange are too close! Lone Wolf undyeable is red orange/black/brown. Eaglebeak definitely has a better pattern on the back, but Lone Wolf has better pattern around the collar. Your boots have wolf heads anyway. :P

but the Ultimate weapons already ARE recoloured versions of already existing older weapons that are very easy to get now (besides the SAM and RDM Ultimate Ultima ones). Heck, in the German version the title you get for collecting all HoH accessories is "Living Legend".

That said, I am in the camp that wants older rewards available again, but still tied to ranked feast.

Hey, S1 and S2 coats are just Kirimu coat reskins. The wolves are just Fenrir reskins. There you go, to the market board and Gold saucer with you!

I just want to say that the Magitek/Prototype Conveyor mounts are imo the best looking mounts in game. My lala tush is comfy on that chair :3

I dunno where you're looking at, but my Belt is golden. Maybe a darker Variant of Gold, also called Redgold (Gold mixed with a bit of copper to make it look darker and give it a slight red-brownish tone but even that is to dark) But BRONZE is like almost darkbrown with a bit of red.

You're thinking of rose gold, which is closer to pink. What you have there is a bronze eagle. It might not be oxidized bronze, but it's bronze! Compare that to the gold dangly things along the chest wrap. This game does not like to use GOLD-gold that much, but some gear has legit gold. *Queue the long conversation about gold purity.* There is no brown in gold, just yellow/silver-white/pink coloration. Maybe the coloration on S1 and S2 coats differ, but S1 wolf head is gold and matches uniformly with the rest of the gold on the coat. I can't really compare right now because I don't have the S2 coat.

I have some things made of Bronze at home and i can assure you its a COMPLETELY different Color.

I think that's a bad idea (but hear me out before you flame me).

I completely agree that those players worked hard for it, so I wouldn't want them to be available easily like how they messed up and made those 1.0 earrings so easy to get. I don't think old feast rewards should be rewarded in pve content or via wolf marks like how some people in the past have suggested (though the idea of making it cost a LOT of wolf collars isn't as bad, but I still don't think that idea is quite right)

But that being said, it's unfair that newer players will never even have a chance at these. We accept it for 1.x players having limited time mounts and things because they played technically a different game at a time when the game had really bad reception and on the verge of dying, but FF14 has done well from 2.0 and beyond. It especially doesn't make sense when PVE mounts aren't given that same reverence - you can just unsync and farm something and save time years later. The one mount fight that was going to remain synced (rath ex), they've confirmed bringing unsync in the future.

I'd like the old feast rewards to come back for equal work. Basically let people choose old past rewards of the same type. Let's say in the next season you rank Solo - Gold, you can choose a reward that was once available from Solo - Gold. Same type (no mixing Solo and Party rewards) and same ranking needed, but just let people choose what reward they get.

I disagree. There a few items that should only be kept by a select few, because their value doesn't only come from the difficulty of the achievement that players had to complete, but it also comes from the time period that players did it. At the end of the day, the point of these items is that they're notable, rare items. It's fully intended for them to not be worn by everybody, it's fully intended for them to be almost never seen, that's the entire point. And by limiting the time period that players can attain it, it adds to this rarity. I say this as politely as I possibly can, but new players really shouldn't feel entitled to things that players worked to earn before they even cared enough about the game to play it...

I just don't agree with the sentiment that players should essentially be rewarded just for being late...just look forward to and enjoy what's to come in the future.
