Congratulations on failing to properly read my post. Once again, not a single server got even close to being capped on houses when new last set of wards were added. Data from Spriggan and Twintania also support that. Might want to fact check certain things as you're obviously clueless.

With what, 14+ million subscribers there shouldn't possibly be a funding issue if it's a matter of server space allocation/server load.

This game would be doing real good for a 6yr old game if it had 14,000,000 active subscriptions. However, active ones climbed to just over a mil with Shadowbringers.

I'd like to see that madness actually. Me taking 5 minutes to load into any area, and places the never needed instanced areas will now have them. Queues would be longer because dungeon instances are full up to the rim. Forget housing, can't even get into any wards.

Cactuar had 0 houses available within a week of the last wards being added.

I bought the last available goblet house 4 days after those were added.

I imagine several of the other high pop servers had the same issue.

Lets talk housing on one of the multiple threads already talking housing perhaps? Especially since you're not saying anything that isn't already being said on those threads ....

Sorry, I didn't see any of those threads and if they're there, they're buried. There's at least four brand new threads about the mentor status requirement changes and those were on the front page. I admittedly was not going to go digging for hours looking for dead/old threads.

This thread in particular has more to do with what they're doing in 5.1 just won't be enough as it was never enough in the past and not just a generic housing thread.

As most of us are painfully aware, trying to obtain a house either for personal use or FC use is next to impossible on high population servers such as Gilgamesh, Balmung and Mateus.

The wards that have been added were full within minutes on those servers and they will be filled again (Within minutes) come the release of 5.1. It's long overdue that we get a more reliable answer to the housing problem on those servers.

Uh... As someone who was on Balmung during the last time they added new wards I can tell you that the only thing that was filled within minutes ((And I mean like 15-30 minutes)) were the Mediums and Larges. I had no issue upgrading my small to a medium during that in one of the new wards and that was 20 minutes after the servers went live. Hell in the older Wards they lasted even longer, we were seeing mediums in the Goblet hours after the new wards went live. Then there was the fact that most of the new wards were then empty beyond belief since no one was really buying smalls at all. It wasn't until they lifted the restriction on personal house purchases that they filled up.

Would you like to add something constructive or just keep harassing me for starting a thread when there's other dead/old threads somewhere else in the void of the forum graveyard? Please, either add to the discussion to go be the forum police on some other forum. There are lots of repeat threads because people don't want to spend HOURS trying to find 'old threads' that nobody wants to click on anymore because they're too long. (Like the Male Viera thread.)

Mateus and Balmung had no housing left whatsoever once the FC only restriction was lifted. The rest of the houses were gobbled up in under an hour. It doesn't matter if they're gobbled all up by FC's, or gobbled up by a combination of FCs and Individuals: There's still many FCs that are homeless and can only buy a house during the RARE ward expansions like this one and there are PLENTY of individuals who would love a private home and can't get one because they scarcely come open.

Even when they do come open, people have to camp them for up to 24 hours just to have a CHANCE at clicking it at just the right time to claim it before the other 40 people get it.

Horrible system.

No. Gilgamesh still had house WEEKS after the last housing was added.

I read your post and I 1000000% disagree with you. I play every day on Mateus and Balmung and they were ABSOLUTELY FULL the SAME DAY that they opened for private purchase came out. They ARE all taken, STILL. I'm not clueless, it's called I play on those servers and have always played on those servers. I don't care what housing was available on Twintania and Spriggan, they aren't Balmung and Mateus.

EDIT: Mateus, where ONE PERSON owns an ENTIRE WARD of housing by themselves and SE does nothing to change that. They were 'grandfathered in' to the new housing purchase requirements.

last time they added houses on phoenix, there were houses available for weeks if I remember correctly and people are selling their houses on party finder everyday.

Yeah one I saw yesterday in PF was for 150 mil gil. This is just wrong all the way around.
