waiting an hour for healers is pretty common atm but no, its not dead in the slightest.

E4S is specifically very heal intensive that even 1 missed shield (due to raising someone) will cause a wipe. I can see why there arent many healers on this fight. it's pretty tough even for above average healers.

Why? It's not shameful for someone to acknowledge that they don't have the mental energy needed to get others their clears - or to even want to either way. No one is obligated to go back through the tiers and herd proverbial cats towards their desired clears. It's admirable if someone does it but at no point should anyone be shamed for deciding to conserve their mental bandwidth for other things.

Frankly though I'm not surprised E4S has a slow fill rate in PF. My group just started tackling the fight - got to MEGA Titan before raid time was over last weekend - and as a healer I can already say I'd never willingly subject myself to that fight without a co-healer I know and trust.

As a heal, when I progressed Titan in PF, I noted down and friend the good ones of peeps I got in contact with and progressed with them until we killed it. Heals and CDs are pretty laid out in this fight and there are many spots where you can't recover from, if someone fails. I also hate when people can't do the 2>1 dodge.

Doesn't help that people put ilvl restrictions. People have cleared content and are willing to join, but they may not be at the ilvl the party is set to. For example, I saw an e1s set to 460. That fight doesn't require 460, and all that does is lock people out who may know the fight well and have cleared plenty of times before.

Fellowships should help this. And see if you can find some discords for your data center. PF might not yeild results, but raiding focused chat rooms should yeild healers who are willing to help you out without relying on a static schedule. That is if you don't care about the amount of chests dropped

Fight cleared, weapon obtain. Since there is no more insentive for me on multiple clears per week i just quit until they make it farmable to gear other jobs.

To clear Savage, you have to want to beat it. By that I mean putting in the research and practice into your class/the fight yourself and actively looking for statics and like-minded learning groups in your situation to progress with.

You can't just sit around expecting a farm group who has done all the progression for you to come along and babysit you through the whole tier, just so they might get one or two more players in the PF queue. 9 times out of 10 (or worse) you end up with the type of player who isn't really that interested but is like "sure, if they help me I guess I'll tag along and see what happens". Someone with that attitude just isn't Savage capable.

On Crystal there are almost always 5/6 parties up and almost full. Right now the real bottleneck is E2S but once people get past it (or get better geared through deepshadow and 5.1 wep) it'll be so much smoother and more people will pop.

I found the best thing to do at least for E3S is just plainly state where you are in the prog and nothing else. Many people put in "Learning party at Tsu 2" and sadly that invites the idea of "Well i'm still learning the fight so it'll be fine if I'm carried" and before you know it you're wiping after Tsu 1 because people aren't being focused.

Only saying what it is you're doing already sets the stage that you're not accepting anything prior and will hopefully only lead the same type of people to join you, instead of having to take care of some yup who can mess up your prog to even start progging.

No one's obligated to do anything, but if waiting for healers bothers you then either roll a healer yourself, help more of them get acclimated, or wait out the 1hour plus queue with a big smile on your face. Complaining about a situation is dumb when there's actually something you can do to improve it, but just don't 'feel like it.'
