    To make MCH more ping friendly wouldn't it be easier to...

    Just cap how many times you can max WF and just increase the length by 3 seconds? Keep everything the same, then people can weave 2x in between heat blast and not have to worry about anything? The damage would be the same, they would just be able to get in 1 more attack thus solving the whole problem.

    Capping Wildfire with stacks and giving Heat Blast 5 charges would be the best change. Changing Wildfire alone won't fix the issue because the issues is with clipping during Hypercharge. Clipping is a dps loss regardless if you manage to hit your 5 Heat Blasts and 6 gcd Wildfires and it adds up as you have to repeat it often. The core issue is the 1.5s gcd and animation locks. It has to be possible to avoid weaving completely during gcds that fast if we want to fix the problem, so either the gcd needs to be longer or there needs to be another work around for avoiding the weaving. Giving Heat Blast charges would mean that you can do a couple, then do other gcds while weaving and spend more Heat Blast charges without weaving. More about the topic here.

    I don't know people are TRYING to weave 2x between heat blast. It's on a 1.5 second GCD and you get three charges of gauss round and ricochet; since WF isn't affected by oGCD abilities I see literally no reason to double-weave them during a 1.5 GCD burst window. The ping issue arises from the fact that both wildfire and hypercharge carry animation locks, have desynced durations, yet are entirely co-dependent and have fairly tight windows. The other issue with increasing WF duration and capping the damage is that it makes it far too easy for low ping players to comfortably do anything they want in that window, making it super easy.

    The best solution imo would be to have WF auto-trigger hypercharge if it's available since they're CLEARLY designed to go together, and further reduce (or eliminate entirely) the animation lock associated with it so you don't have that awkward delay.

    You don't double weave between 1.5s GCD, that's impossible.
    Problems comes from that single weaving, it's actually easier to double weave between 2.4s GCD rather than single weave between 1.5s GCD.
    Also, due to raidbuff lasting 10-15s, you are required to weave between the Heatblast or you'll loose GR/Ricochets over the fight.

    Tying wildfire and hypercharge would change nothing as it has nothing to do with the current lag issue.

    I honestly support the 5 heat blast charge not so much because of ping issues, but I understand that's a huge problem for people, but because unless you're actively counting the heat blasts you can sometimes get 5 off and then miss the 6th because it always cancels and wastes gcd time, which is super annoying honestly.

    Ease and ability have nothing to do something because you have bad internet its not the same thing. If we fix it (5 HB) that way or extend the WF by 3 seconds but have it capped at 6 stacks , who cares if it easier for people with bad ping? You could have a direct line to it and it wont make you any better and it's just a QoL improvement.

    When are you guys hitting hypercharge cause my ping is 75-90 and I can get 5 heat blast and all of the gauss barrels and ricochet.
