Well now I am thoroughly disgusted with parsers if they can basicly spot tell what a randomizer is going to give you.The ACT parser a lot of player are using for their DPS comes with a free plug-in that's able to TELL people which content they will get beforehand. so they don't actually have to accept it if they don't like it. That's why they don't even have to reduce the ilevel. They can just use their parser and if it shows, let's say "Dun Scaith" they can just pull back. Thats probably also the reason why there are so many players pulling back in the first place, when the invite is popping up, trying their luck later again with the hope of getting something else. That's also mainly used on the MSQ so people can actually decide if they want the shorter one or the longer one with more xp.
For people using the ACT parser queuing into random roulettes is not as random as it seems or you may have thought.
But then again I don't plan on doing raids unless its with a group I know so its a moot complaint anyways.
Ugh. Trying to get my AST to 80 with Mt. Gulg spam and I got the laziest tank ever. I should have known I'd have bad tank luck because my jumbo cactpot ticket lost the grand prize by one number (5250-5251 REEEE), so I'm cursed with bad luck for the next 24 hrs probably.
They were not new the to the dungeon, a PLD, and had Edengate/Ronkan gear. Perfect recipe for big pulls! Nope, tiny little baby pulls the whole time. And no defensive CDs, Requiescat, and I don't even know if they used up their Sword Oath stacks or not. They pretty much just used their Royal Authority/Goring combo and nothing else. I absolutely do not get these people, these lazy freeloaders who don't even use most of their kit. If I was in a premade I'd have initiated a vote kick but eh, not with pugs.
At least the DPS were pretty good. :<

So.. one of them had to actually parse that fight and then log it for it to even appear on 'the site that shan't be named'.. really..? Logging a troll run is a thing now...?I did a little bit of snooping and looked on the site that shall not be named. The log of that specific fight was uploaded there (truly easy to find because what run goes on over an hour).
I don't wanna talk about it any further on the forums but I saw what confirmed my suspicion that they were trolling: they all are from the same FC and some further data from other logs that probably is best not adressed on the forums. Good on you for reporting it because just draining and hour+ to troll is beyond rude.
I can only recommend for next time to eat that leaving penalty proudly!
Also gotta shame myself. After starting up the bard again to level it I must've forgotten to put Raging Strikes on my hotbard and went the last few roulettes without it. For some reason i simply thought they got rid of the skill.... Caught onto it when i saw a fellow bard in a trials roulette and promply put it on my bar after that.

If thats the final boss mech, just stand in the middle between the to little “towers” that line the perimeter of the fight circle. The lines go from tower to tower with a small “aoe” to either side of them (probably to account for the npc body width) so as long as you’re not directly on it to the immediate side of them, you should be fine.To anyone that gets me in Ghimlyt Dark:
No matter what class I'm playing, I'm going to die to Crosshatch. For some reason, the worthless piece of grey matter residing inside my skull just can't do it.
I'm sorry - the lines are BARELY visible to me when they start going off and even though I do a top-down view, I can't seem to ever find the safe-spot. I hate this mechanic so much because I feel so stupid not being able to do it. Rather, I -could- do it, if I could see the lines better (also, I'm sorry, I will NEVER be good at memorizing things that disappear seconds later - I've never been good at it and that's not changing - that's why I always breath a sigh of relief when someone else does the Diabolos door mechanic, because I can do it the first time, but not the second when OH GOD SO MANY LIGHTS AND EXPLOSIONS AND PURPLE AND RED EVERYWHERE WE'RE MOVING MY CAMERA KEEPS SHIFTING AROUND TO FOLLOW AAAA and the doors are blank now and I have no clue which is which so I guess we're eating this one boys!).
2nd one has a bomb marker on each player so you’ll always take damage then before the final push

So I decide to do Mentor Roulette because masochistic tendency and surprisingly get Sastasha NM with 3 sprouts.
We get a GLD, LNC, and NIN with me on AST.
We start off and Tank doesn't have stance on. He's level 23 so probably just forgot to reapply on level synch so I make a friendly comment along the lines of "Remember to put on your Shield Oath". Nothing. No response, no Shield Oath, and we continue on, with aggro ping ponging along between everyone. I again, tell the tank to put on their Stance. Still no go. The NIN tries to inform them as well, writing out their name and everything. Still nothing as they continue on their merry way. NIN tries 1 last time to tell them before the 1st boss but nothing and at that point, I'm not having it. We were nice, we told you what to do and how to do it but you wish to not learn, well let's just say this masochist is also a vindictive a-hole. We get to the 1st boss and I just don't heal him; He can't be bothered to do his job, I can't be bothered to do mine (I heal the DPS because they're doing their job so I respond in kind), which I inform the Tank as such before rezzing them. Next set of mobs, STILL no Shield Oath and I again let him die before we initiate vote kick and it passes. We get a replacement and finish up without further incident.
Yes, it was Sastasha, a dungeon you can do in your sleep and yes, the Tank was a sprout but if you are not willing to do your job at that early a stage, when people are actually explaining what you need to do to perform your job, you aren't going to improve and I am not one to simply carry some lazy people thru content, sprout or no sprout. I mean, guy was level 23 and was still using the default clothes from when you start (not glamour, the actual level 1 default gear with random accessories, etc.). It might have been a bot really for all I know but still, I don't think I made the wrong decision at all there.

Dinged 80 on my AST and decided to go do some Eden NM for shinies. My co-healer WHM on E3 decided that, no, Medica II is for losers and left almost literally all of the AoE healing to me. Me, a Noct AST. Of course we nearly wiped because I consistently had low MP since I was doing nearly 2 healers' jobs, almost couldn't res them when they died. Had to LB3 to save it, still nearly wiped again after that because Ms. Glare Spam didn't want to heal.
I don't like lazy players.
You must’ve missed the post a while ago where someone got a suspension for doing exactly this, the GM citing MPK. If you’re going to be a jerk to a sprout you should probably not type out the evidence in chat.

It's called Iron Will now. If the tank was a sprout who started after ShB, he might not have known what you meant. Not excusing it, just sayin'.
Kind of an amusing thing from trial roulette last night. Susano, fight is going really well, until near the end he dropped puddles and I tried to Elusive Jump out and...landed in a puddle that was away from all the others, near the edge. Got hit by it and paralyzed. Anyway, boss is close to death and I was the only melee, so I tried to LB3. Paralyzed. Tried again. Paralyzed. Finally on the third try it went through. That must've looked pretty silly to the rest of the party, with the wings popping in and out of existence rapidly.![]()

And secondly, Shield Oath before the SHB were changed to level 30.
He probably didn't know what you meant...because Shield Oath no longer exists.
Edit: Well I had a rant and I accidentally deleted it replying to this so rip to me lol!
