Yeah, there were a slew of those early into Heavensward, when DRK was first added. Most of the time they'd keep Darkside off and either not use CDs or use all of them at once.
Now they're back.

Luckily ive mained warrior since beta so i dont have to endure thie kind of situation too often.
I do play dps ofc but tend to level them with fc mates or friends tanking.

What's wrong with that? More embarrassing to watch half afk Ast or Ast not using their cards.

I will use it shortly after starting my gravity spam near the opening of a fight. Keeps me near full during the spam and makes the cooldown reset sooner than it would have if I used it after spending all the MP on gravity. Nothing wrong with using it at 90% if you're spending enough mana to keep you below 100% the entire time it's up.

Uh... it's actually part of healer openers to cast LD early. And there's nothing wrong with casting LD at 90% if you know you're not going to overcap MP.

This. If I know that I have to hardcast a lot of BeneficII/ Helios/ Asp. Helios because shit hits the fan and oGCDs won't cut it anymore or I'm about to spam Gravity like, I'm going to use LD at 90%.
I'm constantly casting something and unless a coffee break-long cutscene is coming up (looking at you, Eden) MP only ever goes down, not up. Better make the most of the few CDs for MP management I have.

If you think that step is rough, wait until you get to the next one. I've had it in my quest log for so long I can't even remember when I started it. Admittedly, I haven't even tried to complete it in at least a year. At least I've managed to get 3 of the 6 needed fish. Maybe I'll try it again once I get FSH to 80.
