Yeah, I can see Clemency seeming annoying for a healer (especially now that we have an AoE use for our MP), but honestly when I've seen someone get annoyed by it (or at least voice that annoyance), it's always been the healers who needed the help. Not that I've seen it happen more than three or four times, which definitely isn't a big enough sample size to draw any conclusions from.

Why are you wasting MP on clemency in the middle of your holy circle spam, lmao. If you die, you die, it's not really a big deal and it only shows that the healer is bad if they let you die. Personally I'll always keep my damage rotation going and my defensive cooldowns and if the healer let's me die then oh well it's on them.

Hey, you do 0 Holy Circles when dead. Yes, it's on the healer if that happens, but if I have the ability to prevent a wipe, I'll use it, even if I lose damage for doing so (that kinda seems to be the design idea behind Paladin). The point of doing high DPS is to make things go faster, and there is no reality in which the pull goes faster if the tank dies but used an extra AoE (edit: with the exception of "it is a wipe even if you heal," in which case the skipped Clemency makes the wipe go faster).
But yeah, usually I too am content just sticking to my HC spam and letting the healer play the "how low can you go" game with my HP. It's only when I get that serious feeling of "oh this'll go horribly if I just do the usual" that I stop playing blue bulky DPS. I guess it’s just a slightly different outlook into how we play the job.

Problem 3: Someone pulls Thanatos early despite most of my Alliance (A) not being present so only 2 of us gets the buff. I bet we saved so much time with that early pull when the fight takes significantly longer due to the first buff getting wasted.

Ok I don't want to double post so I'll just replace my last post with this. It's more relevant, anyway.

I'm starting to believe that my DRK and SCHs are just.. not meant to be. Got a SCH who literally did zero dps *not even a single DoT*. Of course, it was in Dohn Mheg.

The SCH spent 99% of their time spamming Physick. They'd even Physick if Excog was up and I was almost full HP - which I often was, considering I tried a large pull and we wiped because Physick spam and low dps, so I had to pull small. They didn't even Broil their binding roots on Griaule and nearly died to Swinge.
Worst part though was when they Physick spammed the last boss's Finale. You know, where you have to walk across the illusionary pit so you can damage the boss? The part where NO ONE CAN TAKE ANY DAMAGE? He Physick'd that. Everyone at full HP... and he just kept on hitting his favorite button.

As a fan of being a SCH healer, you have made me sad. I've legit done up a rotation and everythings going right that excogs up at their full hp pulls getting going and my mp bar becomes the art of war bar...

then i hear stuff like this and i just...I'm sad okay?
