Suggestion to help FFXIV feel more "Final Fantasy"

One of the primary complains I hear on this board is that FFXIV doesn't have that "Final Fantasy" feel. I have come up with a simple solution I believe any reasonable person will agree with.
Mithra have only been feature in one Final Fantasy (XI) besides this one.
Viera, on the other hand, have been featured in four Final Fantasies (Tactics Advance, Tactics Advance 2, XII and Revenant Wings.
Changing Miqo'te to Viera will greatly enhance any Final Fantasy atmosphere in the game.

While I appreciate your attempts to appease all parties I think we can all agree the major complaint about Gobbue mounts is they detract from the atmosphere. Miqo'te are clearly doing nothing to enhance the feelings a Final Fantasy game invokes and therefore do more harm than good.
Replacing them is the only clear option.

You're implying that the community here is reasonable. Just look at how they react if you suggest something that wasn't in XI.

The thing is, Viera are only from the "Ivalice" universe of Final Fantasies, so it's hardly a common race throughout.

I think the some armor could use a bit more fantasy like design. Some of the ones I see around npc are just too plain almost like medieval peasant clothes. We need more stuff like the new job AF screenshot, I'm not sure the straw hats, or ninja bandana makes creates that FF feel. Just my 2 cent :>

id rather not have a billion belts on my nice practical armor thank you very much
