You can easy watch it on youtube i don't see the issue at the end it still the same storyline. I saw the two empire which then i have to tell cid which then tell people from LL and ul'dah so i don't see the issue here,.

I can't use youtube-quality videos for my project. Even if it's in 1080p, there will be artifacting, and I can't accept that in my work.

First of all, I'm telling you I don't think they will be exclusive. If it's important main story quest information I don't think it would be kept from us forever. It just may take longer for everyone to see everything. However, in the scenario these are exclusive, you can't be surprised either. It's a unique experience for every player in this game. Each city state opening is different, aspects of each main storyline are slightly different depending on your starting city, and perhaps your grand company story will be slightly different than those that took a different company.

If they never link up the company cutscenes and you never see them on your character, then you can be upset. But companies are still relatively new, and we don't have much of an idea of what's going to happen there. We also don't know what's going to happen when foundation day rolls around again next year. We don't know if we'll be able to use the power of the echo to witness events later on. Just voice your concerns about it, that's fine, but I feel the need to calm you because you are acting as if this whole thing is set in stone. lol

When we complained about GCs being segregated from each other for GC content like caravans and the like, they didn't listen. And now you see exactly what is happening here: We're now being segregated in terms of story cutscenes.

Do you think they'll reverse course or have plans to share all cutscenes? I don't think so. You'd have to be a bloody idiot to believe that, since they did not offer a GC-switch option after the complaints arose.

I'm acting like this because I want to finish my damn video project already. It's been languishing for the last three months. All because I couldn't get adequate cutscene footage or willing players to participate in a film shoot.

...Wow so people are complaining that the GC quests are DIFFERENT? Kind of how people complained that rewards were different. Do people really want all 3 GC to be exactly the same, just with different aesthetics? That just sounds boring and unoriginal.

In 1080p, the artifacting can be subtle, or it could be because the video was compressed prior to uploading to YouTube. Point is, I prefer raw captures via FRAPS than some youtube video footage.

The point is that I always base my assumptions on the track record of individuals and groups, not misleading optimism that could end up being wrong.

If SE had been more attentive about being inclusive regarding Grand Company content I would agree with your optimism.

I still don't mind the GC being unchangeable. However I do hope the full storyline gets eventually told to every character regardless of GC. Don't even mind if we get different CS.

if they made it so all company get the same storyline 100% and same CS people would complain omg the 3 company are copy-paste everything is copy-paste in this game.

So i think that why i don't see a issue you miss out one company ask a friend who from that company to record it for you and give you the file it should not be that hard to do.

Because, what's the point of having different Grand companies if they all have the exact same story? you might as well complain adders nest gets a titty monster while flames get a horny guy for leaders, stop bitching about every little thing, damn, if all 3 were the same there'd be no point in joining different ones, we'd all just join the same one so we can find more people to participate in the events with, its INTENDED to branch out, it's like complaining a game has multiple endings because you can't see all 3 in one go, this is just an awful awful complaint.
