How optimally do you believe you play your job?

With everything, I can comfortably do EX trials and normal raids, but I've never done savage content. So overall probably average or just below average in the population that can comfortably farm that content.

Healers, especially WHM are where I'm the most comfortable. I do overheal a lot though and I need to learn to trust that I don't have to heal the party to full myself after every aoe in 8 man content.

Tanks, I'm still nervous a bit about pacing, but the aggro changes have helped with that, its also a work in progress at mastering mitigation. I'm also sure I could be doing more DPS

DPS for some reason really makes me super self-conscious about performance since it's so technical, I've never really been able to settle on one that really clicked. I really want something simple and forgiving since I tend to tunnel vision on rotations that I screw up mechanics.

I use aoes on big pulls, unlike the majority of cap leveled DPS in this game.

Somewhat related but I recently got a 99 (orange) for healing in Eden normal on Scholar (lol). But does this account for overhealing? I’m assuming it doesn’t and that’s why it’s being counted so high (which would mean my 99 is more like a 1 lol). To what extent can ‘website-that-should-not-be-named’ be used to show healing optimization? I don’t know why but I can never seem to get the hang of how it all works.

(For reference, I know it does comes across as some sort of brag lol, but I’m genuinely just curious about what this means. And considering my DPS score was like 56, I’m by no means trying to claim that there’s anything optimal or impressive about what I did)

I have hit my stride as a GNB. but where I would put myself in optimization? probably 70%. Did eden last night and litterally forgot my Defensive cool downs were ready and for a good minute I didnt use any of my bullets simply because I was just kinda zoning out because it was really late lol. But When I was doing Innocence Extreme the other day I had all my CD's on perfect timing, My rotation was flawless. I knew i was on point. Then did Titana extreme.... well I found myself popping 2 or 3 cool downs at the same time, found I was missing up the combos quite a bit. So I feel 70% is appropriate.

I am mostly on top as Warrior. About 85-90%. Gotta get on top of my Upheaval and IR windows and do per fight optimisation but in general, pretty solid.

GNB 3/5 in new endgame 5/5 any other content/hunt
NIN 3/5 because even if I play as a 5/5 SE has gimped nin so no one can even be a 4/5 even if youre the best NIN. So will be doing monk and sam next to 80.

Blm 3/5. Will keep like 9k-10k in endgame but I dont do good using roles that cant attack and move at the same time. I tend to die because I want that spell to finish casting or I have to stop casting so much dps because the mechanic wants me to move so dps drops. Plus I get anxiety, cant stand sitting still in one spot when I know a mechanic is coming that I need to move for which makes me stop dps lol.
Fisher 0/5. I dont understand why I can hit Z to pull my weapon out but cant kill a lvl 50 hunt at 80 fishing

I'm probably sitting at 65-75% in terms of optimal Paladin ability. I'm still trying to better time and prioritize which defense buffs to use first and better manage the cooldowns between them, not to mention maintaining aggro when party members either run ahead or a new mob tries to pass me. I've got a lot to learn, but I think I'm an all right tank for the most part. Rural internet can be a challenge to juggle with outages in the summer/storms, plus high winds in the area. There are moments where I feel like I'm at 80%, but that's from practicing or going through a dungeon/trial more than once.

Uh, about better than 70% of others, last I used my abacus with the player submitted data I was given by the players.
So slightly above average I guess.

Decently at best with vast room for improvement. Though with my new static I am noticing my DPS parses as healer getting better simply because I spend less time healing mistakes. Like as in I went from grey parses straight to blues simply because I wasn't having to babysit people anymore. It was such a nice feeling to actually focus on improving that aspect of my job for once, since my low DPS numbers have been something I've been frustrated with in the past.

I still have a lot of room to improve on RDM though, so I'm going to continue running highly mobile content on it till sneaking in casts between dodging becomes second nature.

How optimally do you believe you play your job? I play red mage and dancer these days, and I think I play about an 80 to 85 percent level on those. I make mistakes here and there.

What I actually do? Probably 85%+ as I frequently get comms and/or compliments.
How I feel I do? <50%. I constantly berate myself for anything less than perfection, even though logically I know that's not really reasonable.
