It's time we get an Extreme Trial Roulette.

It might sound neat from the ARR Extreme standpoint, but I can't imagine ending up in a Tsukuyomi EX thanks to the roulette with a bunch of people expecting to be carried throught it.

Some extremes, you can just go in and hope to get everything right or not die too often, others (like Tsuku Ex and her dang meteors) are instant wipes the second something goes wrong.

I do understand why you're asking for it, but I'm really not sure that it would be used. I know I'd use it only once in a while for the heck of it, "just for a laugh", not seriously, unless the reward really is worth it lol

Maybe if it gave a hefty amount of tomes and a stack of 10 or 20 totems for mounts. Or maybe an extra "gift box" as a roulette reward, that had a chance to give you totems, or a special item (like Nidhogg scale). Like an extra reward chest but only for you. Whatever it is, it would have to be worthwhile.

Of course you would have to have at least completed each Extreme once to have access, but it would still be a wildly erratic experience, likely leaning toward bad in most cases.

How about making it, but for Levelcap and jsut synched Ilvl? Since they mess with our skills that much maybe that would help. Or only for Premades. It cant be that much work to make it...

Good idea in theory (especially if there was a prestige mount tied to clearing 100 EX Roulette in addition to tomes and more primal drops), but would require a lot of tuning and restrictions to work as intended.

Garuda/Ravana/Lakshmi EX are by and far MUCH easier than Sephirot/Thordan/Ramuh EX. It would easily turn into people fishing to do the easy ones only for the rewards. SE would have to enforce a high ilvl to queue so people don't drop their gear to only get the lower ARR primals. They would also have to either implement scaling rewards (i.e. Garuda gives 1 run towards the run 100 achievement, but Thordan would give 10) or heavy-handed penalties for dropping (i.e. 3 hour penalty instead of 30 min).

If it's just tomes and there is no said heavy-handed restrictions, it's going to turn into Garuda EX roulette.

not worth it, half the new players wil complain that EX trial roulette is too hard because they will have to apply strategy instead of simply overpowering the trial with pure gearscore//item level//cp level.
the other half will simply not use it after seeing how others react

People have hard enough time on some of them unsynced already... Most of the Stormblood Ex Trials and the Warring Triad would be a nightmare in a roulette.
