While it seems like it would be fun, I have a feeling it would be a problem because I still see people struggling to beat a trial in "farm" parties. I don't want to be in a roullete for an hour then have to disband and reque for the same thing to happen all over again.

Ravana and lackshimi(if lucky) would probably be the easiest one you could get and probably the only one that could clear pretty easily
but then there is Shinryu EX and Tsukuyomi EX ones that will probably never get done in a roulette

If the rewards are worth it but then that may result in kicking those who fail to invite others who can complete on first go. Yet if there is no good reward, why not just make a group and farm it then as opposed to wasting an hour?

I remember queuing up for Titan EX in ARR and i eventually found a group that actually progressed every try and in the end, we killed it before the timer finished, it was mad fun but ofc it's not for the impatient

Ravana EX is an actual joke though, you can burn him down before he even does his ultimate. Try going into King Mog EX and beating it in the same amount of time. You won't. Likewise with a trial with literally any mechanic that requires you to use your brain. Off the top of my head, from personal experiences, the following trials are a leave on sight:

King Mog (no comment), Leviathan, Ramuh (Rolling Thunder/tank swaps lol) , Thordan, Sephirot (good lord), Nidhogg (DPS checks are hard, throw in the nail mechanics and you may as well just not bother trying), Zurvan (Soar memes), literally everything about Shinryu, Tsukuyomi (meteors/moons), Suzaku adds are still the biggest killer to this day, and people are still incapable of meeting the incredibly lax DPS requirement to beat Seiryu's enrage.

A roulette of this kind would be a disaster, and you can't deny it.

highly unlikely some random df group will be able to handle an extreme trial, they're not up to savage level but still require some level of organisation which regular df groups often can't handle.

Ravana X is now easier than Ravana normal and yes I am talking about both being synced and done in duty finder and I assume that the expansion changes made it even easier now.

No. It's time people accept to communicate a little with the party finder when they want to group in a MMO, and not rely only on auto-groups made by the game.
There are already too much auto-groups in this game.
Sure auto-groups are "necessary" for content which it tied to the story, but not for other contents.

I do not want to read arguments about how these players should be doing these unsynced in Party Finder - let alone using Party Finder at all. One of my first experiences with end-game content was via the Duty Finder itself, and it was what made me interested in Savage raiding in the first place. Furthermore, waiting for people who are interested in doing these old trials synced is unreasonable. There is not enough reward for the average player who has already experienced that and you cannot expect everyone to be benevolent givers of time for old EX trials.

Develop your social network in game, organize things in advance, and you won't wait in vain.
But in a living virtual world, we're not supposed to be able to do what we want when we want.
