For me: no validation needed, considering that my PC does a hell of a lot more than run video games.

I don't give a hoot about the ToS in any game or software application for that matter.
They are just made up "blah blah" a bag of hot air so some bean counters can earn money and sleep at night because they feel needed.

As long as I don't cheat (and merely re-arranging data the game gives you anyway to be better readable is not cheating) I'm good.
