When did calling PS4 players “console peasants” become acceptable?

Just going to post real quick from a different viewpoint -- as a JPN with many JPN friends, the majority of players in JPN use the PS4 to play since PC gaming isn't really a thing there. Surely there are many PC players, but the PS4 is almost like a toaster in most homes (everyone has one) - which is why the controller set up was baked in from the very start. All of this stuff about 'PC master race' is better than consoles is, I think, mostly a US thing. I play on PC since it is what I played FFXI on, and I have a decent PC, but many of my friends play on PS4 and are just as good or better than I ^^ At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you play on as long as you play and play well (if you're into EX/Savage). ^^

Ain't trying to shame ya, I dunno what kind of party ya had or anything, but you really should tote the "I'm better then everyone I meet" tag.

The argument between both of you is a giant e-peen flail, and both of you look ridiculous.

Here's mine, also on PS4, also randomly taken by PC players I PUG'd with (so these aren't cultivated runs). Some really good BLM runs on Titania are missing entirely, then again a bunch of stinkers from when I was learning the fights with randoms ALSO aren't there.

She may be inflating her competency, but I'm apparently a better BLM than 90% of all players on Innocence, and I'm sure there's a PS4 player out there who orange parses everything consistently.

I hesitate to hear anyone say "you can't perform at top level in X because you lack Y hardware" when I've witnessed Dogura lose in Guilty Gear to a man playing on a racing wheel and a paralyzed man playing on a controller with his mouth be one of the world's best Chun Li's.

PC offers better graphical quality, faster load times, and the ability to use your own plug-ins instead of relying on raid-callouts and friends with PC's. These are advantages, but they're not deal makers or breakers for a lot of people, and shouldn't be so for those considering raiding with PS4 players.

Considering I played this game for years on a toaster that performed worse than a ps3, I'd say it doesn't really matter if you play on PS4 or PC, as long as you have enough frames that it doesn't hinder your performance.

I realized, but I also felt that showing some form of "proof" that one can perform competently on PS4 was warranted, and since your comment actually posted something from FFlogs it seemed the appropriate jumping off point.

I'm downloading the game for PC now, and I predict that my parses on PC and PS4 will be indistinguishable except for the fact that the PC ones will be my own.

(At least in six months when I'm back home with decent internet again, working abroad has downgraded my connection from sub-10 ms latency and 150+Mbps to 30-110 ms latency and 10 Mbps max; should have downloaded the game BEFORE I left lol, 1800 minutes download time).

I mean. I think it's common knowledge that both PS4 & PC players both all have top level players. I have no issues with either. My parses on the new EXs are green, so I'm not exactly a great player myself, and this is the first expansion I'm actually even getting into the EX/Savage content.

I mean, I play on PS4 and those are MY logs. I'm defending the notion that PS4 players can play well and providing personal example, and I'm not sure how you came to any other conclusion.

You also posted a FFlogs of a PS4 player who is completely at the mercy of whichever fight actually gets uploaded. I think it's hilarious you tried to use a random set of fights to imply the person isn't as good at the game as they say, by the way. We'll keep outperforming, though!

Everyone is at the mercy of anyone who uploads random fights, not just PS4 users.
If you are going to claim to be a great player, you should be able to back it up.

But that's just my opinion.

I'll be quoting you against someone that has been crying on these forums for a while saying that PC players are judging PS4 players and kicking them because they can't use parsers.
