When did calling PS4 players “console peasants” become acceptable?

Don't want a parser in the game, yet use it as third party software for their own parser. Quite funny.... And Again... Fight to the death towards anyone suggesting ps4 players should have their own personal parser.

Again, the only people who don't want PS4 to have a parser are people who are against parsing. The wouldn't have a parser on their own PC. People could argue that they don't want an official PS4 parser, but would like add-on support so it can be unofficial, so that parser griefing isnt sanctioned by the ToS.

Funny comparing a 400ish costing console to a 2000+ costing pc.
If we had a console costing 2000 it would blow any pc out of the water and prop run far more stable i am shure.

About the same time the PC users were allowed to break the rules and use a parser and fight to the death on the forums against anyone trying suggest ps4 users should have their own parser. There was another type of people back a long time ago that wanted a master race too...

For me, it's a case of I prefer PC players for my static, to make communications easier. I was planning to stream raid nights for example. I'd want them to either have their headset connected to both their phone and PS4 at the same time (and be able to hear both, this it to avoid ambient noise from the game), or be on PC (where you can use Discord at the same time, so it'd all be coming through the same headset anyway). It's not that I think console users are peasants (if you enjoy your PS4, go right ahead), it's just for my group, I'd prefer that better audio control for stream purposes (I was inspired by a group called NEST btw). It's just that it's easier to control the game + Discord audio on a PC than it is on console. Yes, I pull the PCMR card as a joke to people I know and get along with, but that's because they know it's meant tongue-in-cheek and they'll fire right back at me (right now I've got one such friend calling me posh, because I have pretty decent tech). But if I'm being serious, my stance is play on the console you prefer (including PC as a console here, as it is a means to access games, a games console if you will), and just have fun. Games are meant to be fun after all.

I’ve seen multiple posts by multiple people calling PS4 uses peasants, another guy insulting people who work min wage jobs and not being able to afford expensive GPUs(one guy doing this was bragging about his $600 1080ti. When did this kinda thing become acceptable? I love Final Fantasy 14 because I can play with friends on PC and PS4 I don’t see the point of bragging about purchases/platforms and using them to insult other people.

Firstly, I did not insult anyone for working minium wage jobs. I merely mentioned it's people who are usually broke or kids that come up with an equal insult of the usual jealous "stole yo mama's credit card for ya computer ehh?" when people actually can afford hardware because they dare to spend their hard earned money they get from working full time in their trained job. By the way, I work in retail - so don't expect me to sip on my drinks by the 500m² pool. But I invested some time and effort to be promoted and become department chief - and earn my money with having responsibility by being ranked by the suit-wearing executives every day. Just because I lead a few people and walk around with a clipboard does not make me a millionaire.

Secondly, I have no "ti" as I was running a 1080p monitor back then. Just a normal GTX1080. Me mentioning that I have a beefy system - I even explained that I need it for my hobby (I am urban photograph/filmer) and don't need I do not need to get "salty" comments by people that have lower income. If we just want to please low-spec systems and consoles, we never evolve - but I'd like to have more graphical features and texture updates without having "da conzolez playerz" getting angry at PC users.

Consoles are holding back development, it has been stated several times in interviews - and it's obvious. If you go and develop for 4-year old systems that can't be upgraded, what do you think is the outcome? Look at the "PS3 limitations" this game suffered while PC players had plenty of VRAM left but had to look at bad textures or there were even NPCs moved because the console could not handle it (in one patch note they moved NPC in Revenant's Toll due to the PS3 having massive frame rate issues - let that sink in).

Oh I’ve been quite aware of it, I just don’t see the appeal about acting like a bunch of children bragging about their expensive PC components purchases, I don’t freaking care what people play on and nor should anyone else.

I am 28 years old. You call me a child for ... you being mad? Fine. But you are the one that complains and want sympathy when you insult me/PC users on the first page three times already?

Bragging is not good, jealousy and snark is neither.
