They may not ever add new hairstyles. SO I wouldn't get your hopes up.

From E3 Q&A "Since Hrothgar have hairstyles tied to their character creation options rather than being separately selectable, you will not be able to apply unlockable hairstyles, but they might implement more face types after 5.0."

Functionally, Hrothgar hairstyles work the same as Au Ra horns. They use the same variable slot.
This is likely why the hair can't be hidden under helmets as well, just like Au Ra horns always stick through helmets.
The hair system has been utilized for fur patterns and colours, so we're more likely to get more fur patterns.
This makes Hrothgar the only race who can change their skin tone at the Aesthetician.

The Hrothgar cannot change their actual skin tone. What we can change is the color of their fur, which is the functional equivalent of hair color + highlights. Honestly? If they had to lock something to the face like Au Ra horns, they should have used the fur patterns and have a slot free for interchangeable hair. Especially since fur patterns are more often than not covered by armor.

Says the Au Ra whose character models face is so low textured it looks like something out of Minecraft. They are a beast race, they move like beasts. At least the character models are super high textured and detailed...unlike some races ...cough cough... Au Ra

If you know that #4 is being adressed, why bring it up?
It's time consuming and it will take time but it is worked on.
Kinda feel like that one could've been left out honestly.

What should happen is they add new hairstyles for each face, and then those become available in the aesthetician. If they are going to be tied to the face...fine, but you shouldn't have to Fantasia to change your hair. Just have the styles tied to the face you chose available.

Really? I always thought Au'ra males did that myself tbh. It's why I avoided one, don't feel like my hrothgar runs like that though.

I'd still prefer to not hunch over though myself as well lol

it would be nice to be able to change the skin color for these guys
since its basically just fur it really cant be too much of a stretch
possibly even fang length

and as Dyn said should be able to atleast choose the other Hair style our face has
