Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

You are incorrect. The adult male viera on the right hand side of the page was used as an inspiration for the model, as well as the other headshot (they are both the same character). The twitter user said so.
I disagree with you, and would love to have something similar to this as a face option.

Yeah, I know that. It's obvious they are taking the what is it like 15 yo (?) looking viera as a concept, and it's a great fan concept, but Yoshida already said we weren't getting child races.

It's the best compromise, I think. I know quite a few people in this thread were asking for them to be designed after Elezen, so Urianger's model could also work as a great base as it is also similar to the art in question. I was very impressed with his big, beefy arms throughout the latest in-game adventures!

Yeah, Urianger looks great for an elezen. He has some really nice definition that would really fit a male viera if they went that route on the body.

On the note of Urianger. I think this screenshot I found on google (sorry don't know the source), portrays what I think males should look like next to their female counterparts.

That drawing is not art of a child viera.

The facial structure seems rabbit-like, or sort of like miqo'te, which I think is more accurate to the concept art.
The art you presented did not have such a face, so I felt it is not accurate.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the rabbit like features, and the concept I presented has half his face under a mask so I don't know how you can say it doesn't have 'rabbit-like' features if that is what you are referring to. The concept you showed looks like it would be of a character around the age of Alphinaud and Allisaie.
